Yeah, South Gawler won by about 8 goals I think. Conditions were terrible, but they were the much better side. Brady Scott got more kicks against us yesterday than what he did in his 3 years playing for Balak. He is looking extremely fit at the moment.

A bad weekend allround MC, Id imagine there would have been some sore heads after the cricket GF on Saturday, hence I'm sure United wouldnt have been at their best. You pull up alright mate?

Some sore heads on Sunday thats for sure. Body pulled up as good as it could considering I played the best part of 7 quarters  I made a mistake of only putting sunscreen on my face. My arms are red as a beetroot and I can only lift them to shoulder level!

 The one that hasnt been updated in a month! who is the extremely busy person who is supposed to update it? Anyone know?

As if it wasnt talked about at training swamp, or if its such a little issue that it doesnt even get a mention during a warm up lap it still begs the question why its so important to not clear him. Anyway not up to you I know, just thought you would have heard is all.

Huge loss for Hamley Bridge!

yea - he went down about 10 minutes into the game. Didn't look good. Hamley played well, look to have improved considerably on last year.

What was the verdict Jumbo, firstly its a bit unusual to see you at a Hamley Bridge trial, but importantly how did you see the game?? Are Hamley set to be the big improvers in 2010?

Not that unusual - bit of talk around the Roosters that a strip change is in the wind. When I saw Woody South having a game against HB, seemed like a good opportunity to check out the red and white strip of Woody South and have a look at the new HB.

From what I saw HB will certainly win games this year, have a good blend of pace and size. Big bloke inthe ruck hardly lost a tap in the first half and their midfield was on top - I never saw the second half. Don't think Smith or A Natt was playing, probably others missing as well. At half time I would think HB would have been up by 5 or 6 goals. Didn't hear the final result but Woody South hadn't given a yelp to then.

My stepsons girlfriends brothers mate plays for Mallala and he said that all the old bastards are giving the club a bad rep. How come someone so young like him can see this but not the people themselves. They have got to be easily as a group the most abusive supporters in the league!

Who is playing Dream Team this year. Donkey has set up an APFL Dream Team Leauge. Let me or Donkey know if you want in and we will give you the league code.

I wouldn't be confident with the year ahead beating Woodville South.

Are there any upcoming trial games of note this weekend?

How have teams fared from this league thus far this year (excuse my naivety and disregard for reading through pages of previous posts...).
