Not sure what your reading, I stated "My guess is that this exactly why the Mallala has been reluctant to clear players to neighbouring clubs" as this would be a reasonable assumption if this is all true and your dead right when you say I have nothing to do with the process, thankfully.

Personally I just think its a pretty ordinary strategy to be offering such players money just to switch clubs, surely you can understand my concern, and given the tribunal clears players auto after 3 attempts this is even more of a worry for other less wealthy clubs

If anyone is on $1 or more than myself and many others are undercut as you would describe, but wouldn't have it any other way. Not sure about your football club but we don't sit around bitching about who gets what.

Obviously common sense finally prevailed. Agree MC that it shouldn't have had to go on this long but will be interesting to see how the young lad goes with what you guys are saying will be more opportunity.

The Tigers must have given a very strong case for this decision as in the past the Board has often refused these. Given the apparent hatred from the Board to the Tigers at previous board meetings, this makes me think the Tigers had a card up their sleeve to play last night. Well done to them I say.

End result of all of this though is that Mallala are the big losers and their reputation for handling players has tarnished even more than before. I don't think it was a board meeting, rather a tribunal hearing, hence I would assume that both clubs were represented and the tribunal who is supposedly neutral would then make an unbias judgement. I may be wrong. Good thing is that its now all done and dusted and everyone can get on with the season ahead.
