You guys were just too good in the last half. Hummocks have a quality mid field with more experience , hence always making the right decision with the footy. longies have plenty of work to do. One of the first things is trying to keep some of my team mates out of the pub on a friday night

Very average form.
Was that in a half SG? Seems very low for Wakefield given its so small. Clubs would be aiming for 50-60 in a match i would presume, what would your teams expectations be then Sam, or like you say, is the issue for the Tigers more about efficiency rather than times inside 50?
Having done stats myself on the odd occasion, I think you'll find that there would have been quite a few missed for both sides, unless you have someone impartial doing it and not trying to watch the game itself. Even for a quarter, those figures quoted are very small.
What to do about the Fri night pub issue???? It's a problem that all football clubs have to deal with at one time or another. I think all you can do is hope that the guys do the right thing for themselves. Some people play very well after a big night on the p!ss, but generally the older you get, the less likely it is that this would work for you (in my experience anyway!). It's not something you can really police very effectively. I guess it's up to each individual to decide what they want out of the season, and if they do play up on a Fri night, they'd better be superstars on Saturday!
