Bunyip coverage best of the 3 local rags by far IMO.Thought it may struggle losing Robert Laidlaw but has maintained high standard and is a good read each week

Thanks, Sam. We've worked hard on it as we knew our credibility was on the line, having lost a staunch football writer in Rob. We can still improve.

GT Sports wasn't so positive this week. Apparently they went to the effort to pick up the phone and ring big bad Barry Kaesler regarding his return to Loxton, unlike the Bunyip. Do we have media war Dogwatcher?
Big Barry stated he deals with facts and not Internet gossip! Barry must understand we deal with facts at safooty, said he would wait till after he plays in the grand final before making a decision.

No comment. ;)

Went to the game on Saturday at Willaston, is it a bit of overkill having 30 weslo employees there?? Fair enough doing a search of the car when driving in, but do they need to be walking the oval, and manning every bar, while theres police doing the same thing? Would of thought law enforcement would of been more then enough, is Gawlers underbelly that out of control that a game of footy needs paid security on top of Police??

I can only guess the mirror reference is some sort of jealousy that you have a head
Like a half digested walnut that has emerged from a raccoons ass.
Read the coaching manual. Page 1. Under paragraph A.
Quote ' Always hold the magnet board up the correct way, so players can see where they are playing'.
Couldn't even get that right champ?
You hanging crap on Hadds is the richest thing I have ever heard, he took us to a grand final,
You got 5 wins in 2 seasons and everyone was so bemused by your rants that they moved you on.
Was a revelation when Hadds took over and we could suddenly read what was written on the white board, and see where we were playing on a magnet board that was up the correct way, and also understand what was being said
At the quarter time break.
Been playing football a long time and you were the worst coach by the length of the straight,
Party poppers were purchased the moment you got your marching orders.....

Congrats to Billy Wells, Jason "Buckets" McKenzie and Sam Agars on their schluter medal wins. First 3 way tie ever in the BLG (i think) in what was a very even medal count.

Fantastic result with 3 great winners of the Schluter Medal in Luke Wells, Sam Agars and Buckets Mackenzie.
What a year for Luke with Schulter Medal, All Australian team member, SA Country team member and Eastern Zone team member, and Captain of the BLG Team of the Year and now only needs another premiership medallion to top of a sensational year for the big fella .Great lad and well deserves award last night as did both Sam and Buckets.
Was a great night but think we could have a guest speaker for a half hour to top night off.
Could have had Gowans twins or Justin Westhoff.
Why do we have our night on a Monday and not Saturday night?

Congratulations to the 3 winners, was a very low count and not sure on the result if it would have gone on count back.
14 votes wouldn't have got a top 3 finish in past years, but even more amazing it was 3 players tied.
Not sure the night has time to accomodate guest speakers, I'm not sure Justin "Humphry" Westhoff would get me going Sambo. :ymbringiton:
The Monday night format is fine, rather than the Saturday evening.

Don't get invited too often but I found the medal night a good experience a few years back.
Monday night works well and the night is fairly full without any guest speakers.
Disappointed I didn't get an invite this year, apparently was only 10 votes off the pace...haha.
Best year yet......

Oh Termy your back, I think you will find there was a massive sigh of relief when you left Ango and no one has missed you, testiment to your dismissal is Hads leading them to a GF only to be done over by one of the best sides to ever grace country footy. If you are so bitter about Hads and think that you where done over, why don't you reapply and see how you go.

Well done to the 3 medal winners, all 3 are well and truly true champions and deserved winners.

Well done to Chris Jasper on the Magoos medal, closely followed by Shaun Woodards. They join a long list of panthers who have now won a Magoos medal!

Heard that Steve O'Connor returning to the donnies to coach for season 2013. Keep Gibbo away this time.

Am I missing something-who the hell is Luke Hosie and what are his credentials and his connection with O'Connor
Has O'Connor been confirmed as Donnies coach as I would have thought this will create huge issue at the club with supporters that remember the departure and issues when O'Connor left to coach Barossa.
Interesting times ahead for Donnies as no doubt they have some talent but never seem to produce the best and implode year after year.

Big game tommorrow to see who will have the right to challenge the Might Magpies in the GF.
Kapunda would have to lift to beat the Bulldogs IMO and with Angus, Commane, Aish, the Stelzers, James in forward lines don't think Kapunda can restrict the Dogs scoring power so Barossa to win by 5 goals.
Buckets is the big question as it looked like he was still feeliong groin last week and he needs to stand tall if Bombers to win.
Not sure if Barossa will be playing Spencer as he looked real propy on the injured knee against South and did not play after half-time.
Big risk taking injured players into finals but clubs do it regularly and most times it does not work.

I dont think it would happen and i am sure he wouldnt be given any Angaston games.
But i guess the Under 15's don't know who he is.
If he does look like how you described him Stewie it could cause long term scarring to the youngsters.

Will be a black day if he drives into the Angaston oval again, would be surprised if he umpired A-grade football anyway as he doesn't seem to have much of a grasp of the game.
Not sure he would even be able to master blowing a whistle for that matter....
