Interesting to see that when contacted, Brad Busch had "no comment" That must be a first for him! Hopefully Jars' comments won't have any ramifications for him journalistic wise. He's only reporting facts and any criticism to the directors should be taken on board.

Mallala over Hummocks in a close tussle
Two Wells will start to hit their straps this week for the run home to the finals, easy winners over United
Virginia at home will take the points from the Peckers
Hamley has the bye but Norm11 will be practicing his placements of the witch hats and also heard he will be preparing his resume to send off to the Eudunda Football Club.

Good call Woofa!
Whilst I agree that the right call was made in not making the players "unavailable for selection" I think the bigger issue is the league scheduling the bye for the zone game. 2 weeks after association game we have a bye accross the league so that 5 players can play zone. Last year we didn't have a bye and 3 players played zone. In effect we cancel all Netball, Junior Footy, Senior Footy so that 2 extra A Grade players can play a game of football.![]()
I beleive the league told clubs at the start of the year who protested about this that the zone bye was a directive of the CFB. How many other leagues had byes? Not many! I think that the Board is that far up the arse of the CFB at the moment that in 3-5 years our league will be close to being completely screwed up. Time for a change and quickly!
