You always get some interesting interpretations, but overall I would say they weren't too bad. I have seen a lot worse this season. I find Prousey to be pretty good and given he was also doing our game I felt their performance was reasonably good. I didnt notice them a real lot, so I guess that is a good thing MH. How did Burgoyne go playing in the midfield in your view MH?

was surprised to see him play there he must of gotten a nose bleed form being to far up the ground..he did get the ball but not as much as youd think being one year out of AFL. did kick a very good goal with his left though.

Apparently there is a delegates meeting on tonight. So all you guys that have had plenty to say about the Board now is the time to let your delegates know your thoughts so they can be brought up at the meeting tonight.

I have just finished passing my thoughts on to both of our club delegates.

See Shane Farley is finally having a run around with the peckers Hazbeen, more than handy pickup. He would be a local wouldn't he?? How did he go Sat?? Who was the other player you mentioned that was heading there by the June deadline, from the west coast or something??

Shane Farley played his first game after running the marathon he had been training for. I wasn't at the game as Virginia don't have mini-mini's that I am involved with and didn't bother to travel down that way after doing it all week for work. From all reports Farley slotted into the midfield rotation very well as was 2nd best to Big Whisky Walker in the narrow loss to the Rams.

The other player we picked up is Elias Palipuaminni from the NT Thunder, a super quick Tiwi Islander via a mate of Stuey Lamonds who works for the NTFL.

Not sure Wangas. Hopefully one of our delegates will be at training tonight and I will ask them. Let you know tomorrow what I find out.

Apparently not a real lot happened Wanga. The only thing I got told was that the league changed Jumbo's association By Law to include any representative game so that the Board can suspend players for not playing zone.

The other thing was that now the Board is taking the stance that until the SAAFL introduce the points system we will stick with the current import rule which IMO is better than the points system.

This weeks winners

Hamley Bridge v Two Wells
United v Virginia
Balaklava v Hummocks Watchman Eagles

Interesting reading in The Bunyip review of Saturday's APFL matches that despite sitting in fifth position Two Wells are still a chance for the double chance because our percentage is better than Hummocks Watchman Eagles, Balaklava and Virginia. After the match against Hamley Bridge on Saturday, Two Wells faces the top 4 sides in its final four matches. If were good enough, we will make it, but considering Hummocks Watchman Eagles and Balaklava are two wins ahead of us and Virginia are one win ahead of us we will be happy to sneak into fourth spot.
Two Wells Football Club Premiers - 1928, 1929, 1930, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1981, 1987, 2012, 2017, 2018

I would say that they are definately two big outcomes from the meeting MC. Obviously common sense & the board don't go together. Being able to suspend players for not playing zone is exactly the opposite of what we were all hoping. I was hoping they would go the other way & abolish suspending players from not playing association games. Oh well, i guess they are now consistent........consistently stupid!

Does the assosciation forget that we all play football for the enjoyment!! Suspending players for not wanting to play is plain stupid, and basicAlly bullying clubs and players into doing things which they don't want to do for some reason!! Apparently if you retire and the assosciation think you still could play Zone or assosciation fortball you get a week spectator suspension also!!
