Apparently a supporter who is not a member or anyway involved in our club had some criticism of the umpires at one of the breaks. This was an isolated incident and hasn't happended with any of our supporters before. At the end of the day the supporter was in the wrong and as he was supporting us on the day, the club has to wear that one on the chin.

A former premiership captain i've been told? This happens at all clubs & its not a good look. Even though the umpiring is disgraceful in this league, its not the way to go about it.

Agree with both of you there Woof and Wang! The club never denied that anything happened, just explained it from our point of view and tried to get any penalty passed on to the individual. But since the report was against the club that couldn't happen, and any penalties would be against the club.

The incident wouldn't have lasted any longer than 10-15 seconds and the majority of spectators wouldn't have even noticed it. But those who did, it wasn't a good look and like I said the club will wear that one on the chin and move along.

Never heard of him. My information tells me Mark "Bugsy" Thompson will take over from Fitzy. I think he's currently their assistant coach.

A bit like one of Mallala's senior colts from Saturday who also wore one on the chin, except it was from one of the young United clowns whom was sitting on the bench at the time who ran on when a scuffle broke out and belted him!! Apparently he was suspended earlier this year for 4 weeks for an incident in a senior colts game . Be interested to hear what action United took this week to ensure it doesnt happen again.

He got reported by the umpire and took the prescribed penalty. What more do you want our club to do. Each individual has surely got to be accountable for his own actions.

In reality that would never happen so if we assume that Hamley Bridge score say 32pts for the match, Balaklava would need to score 199pts (margin of 28 goals) based on HW beating TW by the above margin. Of course there are so many variables that could throw this calc out.

Ordinary effort from the tribunal - a Liverpool kiss is striking - if he gets one game - should NOT get any suspended. Must have got suspended 3 games because of his impeccable record .
