I Red the producer this morning and two wells have drawn up some plans. WHOOPEEE!
Says they still need more funding and are still gettin letters of support for grants. Grants can take up to six months or more to get and are not guaranteed. They are dreaming at the minute if they think these extensions will happen before the start of next year. Building work needs to start NOW for it to happen. All talk no substance!

you really are a tosser eh Pink bits .....

An excellent appointment by the Roosters - Bugs Thomson will bring a wealth of country footy experience to the club. With Cheeky assisting and Macca continuing on, let's hope its a change in fortunes from this season.

Hopefully Season 2011 will be the year of the Rooster :D Two Wells should retain all players with Port Districts recruits Paul Christofis and Christian Nurton to line up for the Roosters again next season. 2009 Producer Medal runner-up and Two Wells favourite son Lee Allmond will be set for a big year after an injury riddled 2010 campaign. Two Wells will be looking to recruit a quality ruckman and key defender over the summer to add to one of the best midfields in the APFL as the Roosters aim to return to finals action next year.

I just spoke to someone who is in the know and he said that the club has their AGM next Friday night and that a decision is normally made after this, so that the new committee gets the opportunity to choose the coach.

How is everyone going with the points rule. I hear that there a a couple of clubs who will be over the limit to begin with, even before they can recruit anyone. Going to be a very weakened standard over the next 3-4 years.

Two Wells would come in at around the 5 point mark i think if Alf stead plays next year would be 7, maybe 4, not sure on the rules surrounding players who live locally but have played in another league previously

All you have tp do is add up Steed, Christofis and Nurton points as the rest are local so it should add up to be 9 points with them all coming from a div 1 club

So next year with them all being at the club for a year 2 each = 6 plus a point for BOX cause he played in another league a couple years back

Agreed MC, it will certainly drop the standard. Im not sure how the points are allocated but out of Mallala's premiership team, there were only 2 players that arent locals next season, McEvoy and Walsh, so hopefully Mallala wont be affected too much, but given I dont understand the system yet I could be wrong :?

I'm always suss on players who failed at under age level at SANFL clubs.
Tend to shop themselves around while on weekends most of them head back to the city to party up big, which is why they failed at SANFL clubs. Lol.

But yes, from memory, Christmann was an excellent player and after watching the SANFL reserves final, I would have thought he would have been a walk up starter.
Who else from Port is heading there?
Right in front of me. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!
