Seems weird that the teams who finish 3 and 4 get a week off going in to the prelim compared to the loser of 1v2
Tanunda will be happy though when they play gawler central

Could have it the other way and the winner of 1v2 gets 3 weeks off before the grand final

Its the way it is, deal with it, Sunday finals are crap and netball don't want to play sunday's either, thats my understanding of the 2 main reasons why

The BL&G official team of the year is becoming a joke.
It is quite possibly the worst side I have ever seen picked, some of the players picked were definitely not picked on form.
Heath Lawry played half a season and made it.
Scott Williams for Freeling was arguably the best midfield/forward all year and doesn't get picked.
How does Paul Stelzer start and Matt is on the bench when Matt has had a far better season than Paul.
Why can't Shaun Baker make it?
And I'm pretty sure Daniel Stanley has had a far better season off half back than Joel Campbell
Nat Salter kicked 41 goals (5th in the comp) for the year as a small forward and can't make it?
Sam McKinnon another unlucky player to miss out.
Were Gogoll and Ahern picked on form??

I must be watching a different league each week!!

Never throw stones in glass houses Mohammad, we are not gone and are back in the 4, while you wallow away down near the bottom and really are GONE.

Oops...... :D

Oops..... Should have seen this one coming Roodog. Boys have done well to get where they are, just need Centrals to yet again fail in the finals and it will be another Barossa and Tanunda showdown.

a lot's been made of Gawler Central's recent inability to win prelim finals. How about South Gawler's inability to win a first semi? Since the formation of the BL&G, they're 0-5 in the minor semi.

Yep, very disappointing.
Poor showing on Saturday, Tanunda too good.
Apart from the loss it was a good day at South Saturday, decent crowd and some good coin made.

Statistics can be used to prove anything Days, 120% of people know that...

In regards to previous posts, the Team of the Year just looks ridiculous this season. I threw my barracker away in disgust after looking at it but does it actually say who the selectors are?

Selectors were Nobby, Mal O'Brien and 89.1fm's own Keith Jamieson

HF: S.Walton, S.Agars, D.Cutting
C: T.Schiller, M.Taylor, J.Juniper
HB: J.campbell, H.Lawry, N.Schmidt
B: C.Underwood, C.Gogoll, J.Ahern
R: J.McKenzie, B.Taylor, M.Stelzer
Int: R.Chrsitie, J.Angus, D.Stanley, M.Foldesdy

Some puppy love for a few players getting selected, i would think?
