Would he be in the top couple of players at TW? Part of the Mighty 10 or so? (another hardware joke.)

yeah good one onsong.
popped my head in to the two wells meet & greet and i did see a couple of big fellas in there.
dont know about 7ft but this one guy looked about 6'5 and about 110kg, solid.
looked like a good go to man, not many would get around him.

Was it Scott Cam?
He would be an ideal player to build a team around.
Constructive recruiting by Two Wells.
I crack myself up.

On a serious note, we should get someone from Angle Vale in here to tell us more.

TW don't need to build a team around a particular player. They just need the right players to compliment the best young blokes we have in the APFL. Looks like the new coach is getting things done nicely

Scott Burgess is the ruckman from Angle Vale and he fits this description. He was the best ruckman in division 7 last year but being honest there wasn't much competition. He is a good player though, very fit used to ruck most games by himself and still be 100% come the 4th quarter....When he did play forward he was ok but wouldn't say he's a go to man, purely a ruckman but would obviously take a tall defender if he sat in a pocket or something.

When i was speaking to him a meet the coach he was telling me about the competition in the ruck (div 7), i reckon he wanted a challenge will certainly get one in this league with plenty of quaility ruckman floating around. Does look very fit and a bit more solid then big lighty of HWE. Will be looking forward to that duel!

Ok, so Burgess is confirmed as an "in".
Coming from Div 7, if he wanted a challenge I'm sure he would find it.

Well if Two Wells have picked up a 6 Foot plus bloke in Burgess who shows a bit of heart, that will send the old Might Hounds to the B grade.

Bar20, you make it sound like B grade is bad, seriously its like awsome. You can start drinking earlier then the A's, and it qualifies you for footy trip

Get your $1.40 ready next Wednesday.

Well I spent my hard earned $1.40 this morning, but nothing in the Points article about professionals. What did you find out about this OnSong?

Also, I've seen Gary Wehr walking the streets of Balaklava a few times over the past couple of weeks. I'm sure he would still be a handy player at A Grade level and would smash the B Grade comp if he decided he was too old to play A's.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
