Hearing whispers that Balak have also signed ex Mallala player Aaron Cock$.

He trained last night. He hadn't signed but came out for a look. Don't know if he put pen to paper yet or not though.

Two Wells, United, Hamley and Balak all got knocked back. No reasons given!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Agree. Nothing wrong with the oval, just the inability to support the league by filling all grades, including netball.

Come on seriously, virginia had 5 netty teams last year. There may not have been an U14's but the U11's looked promising. I also didnt know that the standard of the U17's team was an issue not everyone can be on the top of the ladder.

The inability to support the Assoc is a joke....who did they come and see when they didnt have a major sponsor for season 2010??????....virginia, they then went to their own major sponsors to see if there was a possiblity of them sending some cash their way....

Virginia do have areas where they have to improve but the oval is up to scratch, the changerooms are better than Mallala's and there is more car park space than Longies, so good luck to them. Hosting a GF may even help them to improve in the areas they are lacking such as attracting kids to fill the lower teams??

Pretty Dodgy either way! Approaching a major sponsor of one of your clubs to be the Assoc Sponsor! if for example BTR then withdrew from the Rams due to limited Sponsorship $ they'd be pretty, well lets say angry.
