Hosting a GF may even help them to improve in the areas they are lacking such as attracting kids to fill the lower teams??

Played at Port Wakefield and on that particular rainy day we had no shelter and one side of the court was too along side a road. Longies only have shellter for one court. Look i'm almost sure the rams commitee would agree that the courts are well below par but we could pick pro and cons about all clubs both netball and football. They are working with the tennis club and council to improve the courts, probably wont be done before this year's GF.

Maybe they need a GF to help fund the upgrades??

Maybe they need to pull their head in. They have a massive community and the soccer excuse is crap. Longies have no trouble providing teams and they would have the smallest community to choose from. Virginia have been struggling for years
