If he has signed, doesn't this mean Virginia's forward line will consist of the 2 leading goal kickers from the past 2 years?? An attack im sure most clubs would envy. Don't know if that's what i would call wasting points..

I think he's simply suggesting Wally may be overrated. I think he's rather handy, and is rarely one to point the finger.

Im pretty sure he came through the juniors? Played against him before! Did he leave Mallala on a sour note, swampy?

Yeah he played his juniors at Mallala and his old man coached for a while. I don't think it really bothers too many people at Mallala if he doesn't play there, I'm guessing given the current attutude, success and passion for the club of the current group of young players, that Mallala wouldn't really need to be worrying about recruiting fringe players that would keep out other loyal juniors who will be around for a while. Just my opinion.

If he has signed for the Peckers (no idea atm) I hope he is better than the last player we got from Mallala!

Chris Mclean off to longies for 700 a game an Serle nealy about to sign for 800. Big money, hope there going for the right reason. Swamp, i thought you said that adelaide plains clubs find it hard to compete with as YP clubs? Confirmed from the man paying the bills.

Don't think Burgoyne is returning in 2011. I agree Westy crazy money, but I I still think the clubs can't afford it, which is why United and Virginia are making a mockery of country footy in this league by getting wealthy sponsers the pay the players directly... and they still never seem to learn that it never brings success. It creates a totally inefficient team environment and creates division amongst the playing group. Makes it all the more satisfying when they loose!
