2026 Adelaide Footy League - C Grade chat

Unsure where to put this but noticed the C5-8 divisions have been completely removed from PlayHQ, anyone have an insight into a potential reshuffle?

No idea - would think Greenacres have pulled their D grade though, aside from that NFI.

C6 had 9 teams to begin with, C7 the same I think.

Fair to say teams in C6 would (mostly) remain, maybe add a side? Only other move might be to take out Golden Grove and Adel Uni and run them in C7 / C8 with their other sides?

Scrolling through PlayHQ - Blackfriars have a side unallocted listed as C6 - so maybe they've added a side.

Welcome to Hackham! When was the last time they fielded a C grade side?! I can't even recall!

Stitch up though, Farmers get the first trip up there, might have to stay overnight Friday haha! Although best to knock on the head straight up, get it out the way.

Lutheran must be loving life - they manage to worm their way back into this division and would be eyeing off another crack at a flag.

At least at face value, it looked a more even competition than the past two seasons.

What is happening with C5, no fixture up 11 days from round 1 and not a lot of teams in Div 5 have C grades
C7 & C8 seem to be all teams with D E F G etc

Process of elimination, not many clubs left for C5 - maybe they'll run with 6 teams? Maybe Portland will drop out of the A grade into C5? Maybe Adelaide Uni can find a Z grade? Maybe two clubs will field their C/D grade in there?

The fixture has been updated. It’s a 6 team division. Teams play each other 3 times with 3 byes as well.
I suspect there may be some altering just regarding home or away games.
GFC have Salisbury in all 3 games round 2 but at seperate venues.
It looks like the league have made the best of what they have to work with.
