I hear North Haven may have signed a handful of players from the south-east - pretty handy types by all counts. Any confirmation ?

Heff might be a Gepps boy now, but not forever. There is a few guys at other clubs with Portland hearts (Newman !!!!). They will all head home one day. Some sooner than others. You can take the boy out of Portland, but....

Give us a clue super, how do you know us ?

You are fishing Newman - Heff will play at Gepps in 07. You should come out and have a run for old times sakes, had 50 on the track Monday night. Resembled the good old days of 4 teams!

North Haven should go alright this year, I know they have spoken with a few players & are trying to recruit some top quality players.

They have a new coach which should see them play a different style & I think they will go very close this year.

Not so sure about North Haven - i think they will be around the mark, but it will be a very open division. Haven had quite an old side last year and not much depth below. I think the two sides coming down will be ok ( Salisbury & Pooraka) and i reckon Unley, Portland, Ingle Farm and Pulteney will be competitive also. Are you involved at North Haven, Demps22 ? You wouldnt be one of the Salsibury West boys heading that way ?

North Haven's B's when we played them last time had an average age of about 19 with several u/17's who would also back up on Sundays in thier comp. Do they have any players currently at Port?????

Pulteney have got a few important ins, Chris Barrie played for Scotch last year and has now told Sturt to stick it where the sun don't shine, also a bloke from Seaton Ramblers who played in their A's last year. As for a name I couldn't tell ya

Demps have you played for North Haven before???

North Haven will be fine as long as they dont start choking in the finals again just like their AFL neighbours, hopefully this new coach can slap it out of them and they can finally find some success...

Hey Falcon Chick,

I havent played for North Haven before, the coach they have coached Fitzroy 2 years a go & is a great bloke. If the players follow the way he wants to play then they should be right up there.

Just to clarify, I am not going to be playing for North Haven I didnt actually say that in my last post

The board dont take the field on Saturdays Newman, you should know that.

Demps22, i was reading the D3 thread and saw that you knew abit about SW. I have also heard that Haven had recruited a couple of SW lads. I reckon i know who you are Demps22 - are you an old North Haven Primary School boy ? How many other SW guys are going with you ?

Yeah I did go to North Haven primary school, I grew up in North Haven. I did have a meeting with North Haven but I have ended up staying at SW. I do know of at least 4 of us that have had a chat with North Haven & I know of 1 that has signed.

What about you Felch? did you also go to North Haven Primary? how do you know me?

Only reason I asked is because a couple of North Haven boys went to SW (much to my shock, cos they both top blokes) a couple of years ago, and i thought you may have been one of them heading back that way..
