Can't replace a Rowan Miegel.... but I think they will sneak in the 5 and have a red-hot crack from there!

Ah yes, forgot about you mentioning him Catch. What about his partner in crime Hodges? He's a big loss for AL.

Nah mate, we'll find someone else to hang around the goals and snap a couple.

My ladder

1. Hope Valley- I reckon it'll be the year of the Demon, sounds like all is going good and heading along the right track down at the Valley.

2. Salisbury West- Have picked up a few/ have a few returning so I think they will travel well throughout the year.

3. Plympton- The benchmark of the Div, should be up there again IMO. I still can't believe bloody Calderbank is coaching the Red Dogs!

4. Brahma Lodge- Despite having a few impotant losses I reckon they'll set the standard and perform well through the year.

5. Rosewater- Always seem to be around the mark, do have some big losses in Horsell and Searle though.

6. North Haven- I reckon we'll finish about 6/7.

7. Wodville South- Seem to be in a similar position we are/were in being a younger side and coming down, not sure what to expect from them. Our trial match against them might give us an indication.

8. West Croydon- Will go pretty well I think, Have lost Vessali and Pederson which were two important, GF winning players.

9. Adelaide Lutheran- Haven't heard much but have two huge losses in Miegel and Hodges.

10. Lockleys- Might struggle coming up considering they have lost some important players.

I'll go:

Salis West
Brahma Lodge
Plympton
Adel Lutheran
Hope Valley

West Croydon
Rosewater
Nth Haven
Wood South

i agree boys, was surprised to see the dark knight to put us down at 9th. quielty confident we are atm. 5th or higher anything less is unacceptable. i feel we have covered the loss of meigel. got a much stronger, reliable midfield then we had last year. going on talent i feel gilliand is just as if not better player then meigel. keeping injury free he will be a huge influence in our forward line.

i tend to agree with demon, however north haven could be the surprise packet scraping into the 5. could be a very close ladder with one game being the difference from making the 5 or dropping to 8th.

not sure how/why people keep putting hope valley up the top in their tables.for a side that didnt play finals last year and ok we've picked up players(of which not all are A graders) but have lost a fair few also.to make the five would be a terriffic result for us.Its going to be an even comp and those with good depth or an injury free run will fight it out imo.Good luck to all sides and hopefully it will be played in the same spirit as last season was.

thanks to Trinity for the 2 trials today and all the best for 2011

yeah they will be good i reckon. few big names missing(go to forwards) as we did, but ran the ball well. run extremely hard forward but not as hard on the rebound as is with most clubs.going to be pretty tough to get out of divvy 6 cos blacks look to be the pacesetter and then half a dozen sides challenging for finals with them.as i said on div 5 depth and who gets the least injuries will fight it out imo.

watched salsibury west and fitzroy today and to be honest, westies suprised me
very young and very fast
belted fitzroy in both games but thelions were missing alot of their a grade team but they didlook very slow and one dimensional even tho it was the first hitout
westies will suprise alot of teams and will go very well while the grounds are hard and firm
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

No surprise to most here, SW will be a very good team this year. I have heard the defence may be shaky, but won't matter with the other end of the ground more than covered with talent!!!

only read the last page these days mate but fair enough goodluck

Why couldnt u read the other pages. U had plenty of time on SAturday when u didnt rock up to cricket. Would love to see u try that once during footy season. I can get rid of you from the cricket club and the footy club will be next.
