people from W/C are the only people to view the footage so until the league and para hills but being at the game i thought the hit was late on him and when the umpire missed the call i was shocked contact was made high to the player accident or not a player is left K/O reckless sloppy player i would love to see the footage cause in real time looked like it was after the ball had passed

Maybe you should let your crusade against WC rest for a bit and let due diligence and process take its course - you’re not helping the situation much, and if anything putting yourself in an uncomfortable corner..

WC are the only 1's with the footage and no reports layed by umps
So no chance WC will give the film to PH or the league to report a player is their

If PH lodge a report and an investigation takes place, the video would be the only thing that would get the player found not guilty, so hiding the footage isn’t necessarily in the best interests of WC - unless they genuinely have something to hide.

I think its pretty ordinary things like this get brought up on here. Should be left to the clubs if they have concern whether its untoward or not IMO

Probably better on here than a front bar where there is only one side of the story presented and a club being dragged through the mud unbeknown.

I think there's been more support for than against the individual in this case.

Let's be serious, this "incident" was yesterday's news, and everyone had moved on until RS decided to flare it up again.

How long do clubs have to put in a report/complaint? This is Day 6 so that would seem excessive if they were to ask for an investigation.

Not having a crack, genuine question

The Bedge wrote:Anyway all this talk is distracting from more important news, like the fact long serving Greenacres player Brenton Starke runs out this weekend for game 300 for the Dragons!

300 games is a ridiculously amazing milestone, but it's even more so for a club like Greenacres who have endured their fair whack of tough times over the journey, for a guy to stick fat through all those difficult times when less men would've quit or gone elsewhere is a testament to the blokes character.

Majority of his games would've come through the B grade too - wouldn't be too many wins amongst that 300.. perhaps tomorrow the stars will align for him!

Congrats Starkey, hope you have a great game sir.

Where's my congrats Bedgie??

Thanks, being so late in the week could cause issues for the next day, guessing the player would have to stand out?

No idea haha! I would think so? I doubt PH are going to be lodging any reports though, would've been done by now you'd think.. seems only Robb Stark is the one with the concern.

Getting on a bit now though - think he was keen to play footy with his son as well in a more comfortable level? So perhaps may see some more clearances come through.

I wasn’t trying to create anything (has nothing to do with me), I was just interested in the ruling

Between him and Shawn McGregor they're putting together a bloody competitive side in 2008.

Good luck and well done to the spiritual leader of Trinity Old Scholars, Sam Peters on bringing up 200 games for Trinity Old Scholars today. 199/200 been in the A grade. Tremendous and extremely versatile player and consistently in the best players.

3rd player to hit 200 games after Matthew Perry and Ryan Palmer.

Also life membership for Matthew Burne for bringing up 150 games.

Should be a celebratory day and night at the Pavilion.

I’ve had a special request to post.. Brenton Starke of Greenacres, who played his 300th game today would firstly like to congratulate Sam Peters on his milestone, but also his sincerest thanks to Trinity OS on their guard of honour towards him after today’s game.

Football the real winner today.

It should be mentioned that the Great Man Cotts recorded a club record for the TOSers on the weekend.
14 goals. Could easily have been more, but he kicked three behinds between his 12th and 13th goal.

Huge turnout from Greenacres too, on the weekend.
