If you are so keen to make the hawks feel at home fc, make sure your bbq booth can produce 'THE DON'

No, "The Cougar" is in retirement. Engaged with a little one on the way - hopefully a boy to continue the legend of Barry Daswson!

Nice to see its all about M. JollyMate, Jolly is definitely not "all that" this year, he 'll be the least of our worries. You can tell the precious one he doesn't have to worry about the big mean monster who hit him. To my knowledge he isn't playing this week due to work committments.
Footy Lover, what exactly do you mean by "targeting"? Macca doesn't tell anyone to "target" anybody. You're making his eye sound like the biggest conspiracy since friggin Watergate.
Injuries happen, unfortunate part of life..let it go![]()
N. Jolly on the other hand, is one to watch. Hard to believe the leagues leading goalkicker comes from a winless team. A blockbuster match up between him and little Scudds if this in fact occurs - and both are only 17 &18 years of age. Hows THAT for real talent.
Little Scudds has a good head on his shoulders, at under 18's training he oozes leadership qualities and we were having a little chat about this weeks game and he said that he doesn't under-estimate ANY team. If you can keep him, he will be a great leader for the Modbury Football Club one day.

Can everyone stop assuming I hate Matt Jolly? Yes, I think he's precious but that doesn't mean I don't rate him

Just on this topic, better rate the good food at Div 2 games this year...if you know me, you know I like food.
I always support the Clubs canteens, usually with the whole family.
Had 3 away games to date...
PHOS - Roast Beef Roll and Gravy - winner (see the guy at the BBQ)
Scotch - Great to have a Balfours pie and/or pastie. Don't see it often enough these days with Vili's around.
Uni - Chicken Fillet Roll with the lot...sensational.
And at home...Raggies - Hot Dogs are good...building a BBQ hut at the moment so after the bye could be good.
Anybody else got any recommendations?
From memory, Modbury is good, been a while since Townies, I think SMOSH's pies are good, SHOC and Pembroke...mmmm, not much there usually, PNU are well organised, can't remember what was good though.
