I want to know what club imposed sanctions and penalities though - suspending the coach for 18 months or what ever it is doesnt cut it..

The said coach has a very poor set of people skills, and in desperate need of psychological help coupled with anger management therapy.
Was surprised, that a quality club didn't phone one of the several clubs he has been involved with, if this was done, then the appointment would never have taken place.

Most ridicules thing is under his instructions regarding the U/18 incident with the Farms last year he is up on a charge that he should have been on last year.
Yet the Farms are suffering because of his BS.
Go figure.

What did he actually get suspended for? Failing to control his team?

Was he IF's 18s coach last year at the time of their incident?

According to the tribunal listing "Bringing the game into disrepute / Deliberately Misleading the tribunal"
Last season it was for misconduct at u/18's

jo172 wrote:Was he IF's 18s coach last year at the time of their incident?

He was the Salisbury 18's coach last season vs IF.

You can read it on the SAAFL site mate.
No he hasn't coached IF.
Let's just say he has been caught out talking porky pies to the tribunal, which he also had a hand in last year but not directly to officials.

Football and cricket clubs unearth all sorts of characters mostly good people, but every now and then we come across someone who is totally unlikeable and never willing to listen to the voice of reason. Unfortunately one person such as this can cause a tremendous amount of disharmony and distract clubs from their main focus.
Pag, if we as custodians of our respective clubs allow people of this ilk to hold sway, then we let down the vast majority of good club people
If your body had a cancer you would have it removed.

That's the thing LM,everyone knows.
Yet his actions in the past has attributed in part to a certain clubs current guillotine hanging over their heads.
It's a joke.

The one club that did take action some eight years ago, has experienced a consistent monolog of abuse directed towards the club and individuals.I can fully understand how people would be intimidated . license laws with regard to barring an individual are complicated and fraught with financial danger.
The club mentioned would have looked at barring this individual for life, but after seeking legal advice decided against. At this point in time he was still an active sportsman for the club, so he was advised, that his services where no longer required. The tirade that followed is well documented.
The sorry thing is, that there are small pockets of people that are prepared to give him the time of day.

I updated our games played list yesterday up to round 7 this year - we have played 39 players in the a grade which means we have debuted 3 new players in the a grade every week - I found it a staggering number - where are other clubs at in terms of total players used? Our b grade had played 49 different players and across the two teams we have used 67 players.
