Todd Williams will tear teams new Arseholes at CHF for the Brahma Lodge Tigers. Matthew Aldridge will win the league medal after finding touch again half way through the year. Brahma Lodge have assembled a great crew capable of taking them towards Div 3 football.

I think you should have been concentrating more on your cricket training......

Todd Williams hasn't signed yet mate, apparently getting offered big bucks elsewhere. Very good hands, but his knees are an issue. Seems like a top fella.

As for Matt Aldridge, that fella is a gun!!!

On another note, the Lodge fairly depleted for this weekends game vs Glenunga, should be a good test for those stepping up. Hoping for no injuries and a good hitout.

On a football related topic I hear that Westies have poached another of our key position players, doing well at the recruiting thing...

Isn't Todd a copper? Meaning he wouldn't be able to play every week anyway, would depend on what shift he is on?

Best of luck to Plympton tonight. Playing in the final of the inaugural Hills 20/20 football competition, at Hahndorf, against Mount Barker. Will be a great test for them, against one of the Hills Football League benchmarks.

Their game starts at 9pm, but the night kicks off at 7pm with the playoff for 5th v 6th, then 8pm for 3rd for 4th.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

didnt you learn your lesson last year, sprouting off about D3. you couldn't even manage the GF. And you blokes were the bench mark IMO. I doubt many Lodgers would want you puttin Jinx's on there journey

In all fairness to Redmagpie, he is only affiliated to the Lodge through cricket, I think he may play footy for Salisbury????

He doesn't speak for anyone on the footy side, we all know that this year is going to be tough with plenty of improvement to come from Plympton, HV, AL etc.

And to think last years comp in D5 was tight.....try and pick a winner this year. 2011 is going to be much like 2010, the 2 sides that get relegated are going to be unlucky....

Totally agree, also Woody South will be an unknown, SW look like they will be more than competitive, Rosewater will be around the mark again. I am tipping there will be very few blow outs, and the top 2 won't be 16-2 with a 5-6 game gap on 3rd. Every round will be important.

Probably cant say the same for the B's, Plympton will be head and shoulders above, with Adelaide Lutheran, Woodies close by. The rest I would think will be battling for the remaining positions in the 5. Positions 4-8 to be separated by 1-2 games.

For something different, B grade 5 I think will be:

Plympton
Woodies
AL
HV
Lodge
SW
Blackfriars
Lockleys
West Croydon
Rosewater
