Saw the PHOS game on the weekend. Probably a game of two halves, PHOS were about 10 goals up at half time, then SHOC got back to within 3 goals with about 10 to go but PHOS steadied and kicked the next 2. PHOS were much more cleaner

Dont know if Modbury rested 10 players but we certainly have a few to come back from injury next week. Bout 9 i would say  including the B grade full forward. Kicked 8 of his 15 with the fractured leg. Hopefully he can fire now hes recovered!

Not sure if SMOSH will be in the relegation zone though. THey did show signs of class at times but found it hard to stop Modbury's midfield... Vassal had 22 touches at half time, almost had a SMOSH player hanging of him in the second half!

question is will you be back to defend your title?
im sure the banter would have been flying high on your table with the motley crew you had assembled, also your close proximity to precious all night must have been a real treat!

SMOSH did play much better then last week, their backline was very solid and ran through the lines but smosh only got close to modbury on the weekend due to dominating the rucks... Modbury are probably just havin a mid season slump cause smosh still had kluzek and jenkinson out plus two early injuries during the game.

My question is what happened to PNU? 10 goal loss! And Are Uni's the form team of the comp?

NM you are right winning form is good form and they havent lost, but they have got tested by two sides in the bottom four in the last two weeks, pemb up by 5 goals at one stage and smosh leading at 3qu time, im thinking maybe they have hit a little slump and are due to loose a couple?

Maybe they have stepped up training to improve fitness for finals time and are bit flat when satureday comes around? You do here of league sides doing this such as Centrals in previous years.

Who was the Payneham idiot that threw a full can of Beam from the balcony at an Athelstone player on Saturday? A fairly stupid and dangerous thing to do, plus a waste of good product.

Anyone got anything to add to this story, I dare say the SAAFL will be conducting an inquiry in due course.

No doubt, a good slump to be in currently, a winning one!
Very hard to be playing quality football for the entire year. ( marathon not a sprint )
Look at Geelong for instance, had a quiet patch there for a while, now smashing sides, they'll probably go through another 2wk quiet patch soon then blow sides away in the finals.
Watch out for Adelaide Uni & PHOS, there not out of the race.

I find that very easy to believe. A bunch of yobbos on that balcony... I thought I was at Alberton or Elizabeth last time we played there... So much for the well-mannered affluent eastern suburbs??? Not...

PNU should be fined and the offender barred for two years...

A similar incident happened two years ago at smosh when we were playing scotch at home. The player ( D Grade ) was suspended by the league for ten matches and then by the club for the remainder of the season. The club was also hit with a hefty fine. Doubt anything will be done out that way though eastern suburbs teams untouchable. Would hate to see what penalty a seaton or Salisbury side would get

PNU are a feral club. Jayne, the last time I saw a poster try to use "affluent" they spelled it "effluent". The same mistake would have been appropriate here.

Only Will. Joe and James have both succommed to ACL injuries, Joe twice vs Modbury, James also vs Modbury! James is coaching the 2s and retired, Joe is about to head to Pt Augusta with work and Will is the only one still playing.
