I think you might find that Carry was referring to the fact that Gunning had just managed to knock out one of our guys (who was playing pretty well mind you) who was forced from the field on a stretcher and didn't return. It was during the third quarter.

Well Blu maybe 'Carry' should look a little closer. The player u speak of was knocked out by a 60kg, 16 year old 2nd gamer putting his arms up to protect himself whilst flying into a pack. Gunning had nothing to do with it. Still a terrible comment from any coach.

yes i dont think you can justify a coach saying that, twice clearly now and the first time was because a player was playing well.
poor if the club lets that go through to the keeper

I hear the SAAFL aren't too happy with Carr and his manner and they will be very heavily watched by the umpires in the next few weeks. If you were involved at Athelstone, I'm tipping you wouldn't be too happy with that sort of attention being focused at the club. If Stephen Carr is one of the reasons Benny Gordon shot through, who could blame him.

With the lack of success the Raggies have endured over the past few years, maybe they think this is going to bring them some, got news for them, thuggery won't work either!

I've never seen Athelstone partake in any thuggery :?

Ben Gordon did not leave because of Carr and to suggest he did is just ridiculous Rotter. That's just unsubstansiated crap.

BTW, I will digress by saying that last years dud recruit, Joel Brown is now playing back at Uraidla in the two's for nothing, nix, nada, not a brass razoo.. oh how the worm turns

Ha no. 1 for Athelstone.

He can add it to his highlights reel of having his pants pulled down in th Gf last year and rnning into a goalpost last season too.

Huuuuuge mouth.

FC, comment made in relation to the "alleged" instructions given by the coach to players about putting Gunning on a stretcher

3 - yourselves, SHOC and Pembroke, mind you Pembroke have only lost the 1 player but that player happens to be Fraser Pinkney...

I'm sure you'd be happy with 2 extra's not available this week? :?

I have in my grubby little hands a copy of the team.. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you... I'm assuming what the SAAFL have given me is the final team, wasn't sure if Bob Cross had finalised it or not..

Not if you're playing SMOSH, no...

Pembroke play PNU

SHOC may pay the penalty coming up against Modbury off a loss.. this will be a test of SHOC's true depth.

With no Tasborski, Juniper and Laundy it would be a fair battle. They'll need a bit from Wilson etc.
