NO-MERCY"S Tips round 14

SHOC v Modbury. SHOC playing some good footy of late & are on a role, it may well be the last time they beat Modbury as they are known to go missing finals time.( like last year )
SMOSH v PHOS. Not much in their last clash at Camden Pk, i think PHOS are a far better side & should win well although its played at West Lakes.
Scotch v Edwardstown. Edwardstown by 6-7 goals.
Athelstone v Adelaide Uni. A good game this one, this will test Athelstone if there up to playing finals in Div2, sides like Uni are sides you have to beat to give yourself a chance of playing finals footy, Athelstone have to prove last week was no fluke & win this one, I'll tip them just.
Payneham v Pembroke. The Falcons should win this game by 5+ goals.

Watched a great game at SHOC today. Severely undermanned Modbury got up by 3 goals. SHOC played well moved the ball quick and applied alot of pressure but modbury capitalised on opportunities in the last quarter.

Gutsy win by the Hawks

Yeah was a good game out there. Modbury did play well and deserved their win. Anyone see the incident at the end of the game regarding one of the Modbury boys having a go at the Shoc coach?!

Great win by Modbury undermanned, never thought they'd win this game yet they proved me wrong.
I was out there today & Harrison coached to perfection with what he had out on the park.
Modbury with what i saw today are the side to beat no-doubt, with what they have to come back in to the side i can't see them losing another game. well done.

Yeah FC played 4 quarters again kicked wayward in the first quarter 3 golas 6 or something so could have been much different early but SHOC kept running and pressure on the ball carrier.

Saw the incident nothing in it really modbury person was walking out of the changerooms as 2 coaches or SHOC people walked in. a slight bump and the SHOC person told the modbury person to f*ck off and go back up north east road etc etc..... SHOC supporters threw names around all day so it was great to beat the precious trust fund boys!!!!SHOC think Modbury are ferral they should have a serious look at themselves.

NM was a character building win without Vassal, Hensil, reeeves, Neve, Woods etc. Phil did coach well he used his bench more than in previous games where we have been over ran in the last qtr.

Yeah lost a key target but not having your best midfielder, 2 ruckman, half back play maker and handy goalkicker along with below par efforts coming up against SHOC who were confident and firing...... i say it was a great win.... SHOC still had marking targets up forward without Juniper.....

no Laundy No Wilson No Juniper No Tasborski Neither of the Yeomans that is the heart and soul of SHOC. Understand Modbury were stretched but SHOC run tight and their best are very good.
Underestimate at your peril.

SMOSH 7.7.49 - PHOS 28.8.176
PNU 17.18.120 - Pembroke 13.15.93
Scotch 7.3.45 - Edwardstown 8.9.57
Athelstone 7.11.53 - University 22.5.137
SHOC 10.14.74 - Modbury 13.16.94

Unless anything dramatic happens, you would think the 5 is closed though there may be a shuffle from 2nd to 5th with only one game separating the 4 sides.

The race to avoid relegation is still on between Pembroke 2, Scotch 2 and SMOSH 3

28.8 to 7.7 surely a misprint, SMOSH arn't that BAD are they?

I expected them to get rolled but not by that much.
It was probably the umpires fault again!

Thought the shoc modbury was a bit scrappy, but Modbury deserved the win. Looking fwd to a rematch tho....

Re: shoc players out....the players from the B grade performed well and few got in the best, so no real issue. Will be good to get the blokes mantioned Bandar plus Clancy and Floreani back cause massive 3 games for shoc coming up...Uni, Towns and Athelstone.

Well done Modbury on the win, always a good game and good rivalry.

SMOSH are pretty much decimated at the minute and unless they get a few back the round 17 clash with SCOTCH will be very interesting. Of course they could recruit the players mum who had a crack at the coach.

Decimated is the correct word - Kluzek and Porplycia out for the rest of the year, parham out for 3, cibich off with the pilgrims and forby out with bad hammies plus turbo182 out with a popped hammy too it cant get any worse, but rollin over by 21 goals there is no excuse for that, lets hope NM rallies behind us and helps us get out of this slump
