Have Uni's big recruits started playing??? are they a looming as the finals favourites????

there's really no huge recruits as in ex afl or consistent sanfl players but injuries seem to be ending and the team is starting to get used to playing with each other and the game plan. uni are a very young side so it takes some time to get used to playing men and larger bodies.
still, i've only seen the shoc v uni game as my side plays at the same time and shoc were very very good with a heap of forward targets.

kurzel and kellett two handy ex roosters recruited by uni just before june 30 has helped

kurzel's brother plays in the uni a grade and kellett (graeme) has been back and forth for at least the last two years. but yes, they help.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

I expected them to get rolled but not by that much.
It was probably the umpires fault again!

Should of come and had a look NM.
At least your used to seeing losses like this down at your club.

Long time since i saw a loss like that at my club, actually i don't think i have seen one that BIG!
Scotsman, i like to watch a game of footy so i pick out the games i think would be close & exciting to watch like Modbury v SHOC, not one sided clashes like alot of your games are, also like to watch two sides that can actually play the game!
I don't like the look of your chances staying up in Div 2 at present, that Scotch game coming up is now shaping up to be another one sided affair, Scotch's way & you know what happens when you lose that one, BOOM :Hangman: \:D/

Yeah a long time, almost a month now!

Gaza 32. 14 to 8.5 round 10.

Or if thats too recent perhaps the 28.16 to 7.7 defeat at the hands of goodwood in round 6?

No wonder you don't watch your own side, you don't like one sided games!

On a serious note, we played a very young side on the weekend and the inexperiecne showed after a good first quarter.

And the conduct of the spectator abusing the coach was completely unecessary, and to be honest, embarassing.

Hoping to be back for the Athelstone game. The crowd is already gathering for Scotch at home!

Keep taking your flowers down to the seaton home ground on your visits when they dont get spanked cause they are already brown bread!! Maybe we could be buried next to seaton cause they are already in the hole with the dirt poured on top.
At least our hole has only been dug and its up to us now whether we get buried.
A few players coming back over next couple of weeks and dont think we know NM that every game from here on in is a grand final cause 1 more win and we keep our spot.

Your next win will come 2009 in Div 3!
If you look back earlier in the year i did predict Seaton would finish bottom & yes it looks like you'll be right along side them, its a pity for SMOSH really as i was hoping for another local derby starting up next year between the two & watch Seaton spank the hell out of yah.
Where did Seaton finish in Div 2 last year?
Where are SMOSH this year in Div 2?
Your mathematics are correct but you won't win that game.
Seaton mathematically need 3 but won't do it.

Whitey was caught under a high ball, turned around late to spoil from front on, the footy was marked high up on the chest and Whitey clumsily collected the Uni player high in his attempt to spoil. It should have been a 25 metre penalty only (after game discussions with Uni confirmed this view). At worst a yellow. Instead, Whitey sent off for the rest of the game. The incident occurred in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Really brings into question whether umpires should have this much power, judge, jury and executioner. Pretty tough to be down to 20 men so early in the day and arguably one of your best players in the showers.

Hang on, unless you had no-one on the bench, you should have been able to replace him (with another player) after 15 mins. A lot of people get confused with that rule.

Yes, he was replaced after 10 minutes but we could still only use 20, not 21, players for effectively the whole game.
