Robbie Fraser form SMOSH... Anyone know much about his background?

He isn't a ruckman? Is he?

Used to be a full forward, or at least he was when I first played against him. Played in the backlines for Seaton last year. Lots of talk on here about him and cops criticism for not living up to the perceived hype about him.

With the SAAFL website down every Saturday night I go directly to here to get the scores.

http://www.metisc.com.au/iScoreSN/index.cfm?db=34

This seems to work even when the SAAFL site is down.

With the CEO pushing for clubs and umpires to update results from inside the clubs next year, they had better sort out the website problems.

Conditions at Brighton Oval were atrocious, couldn't tell the difference between the 2 teams after half time.

Robbie Fraser is a solid bloke around 6.2", obviously had some sort of ability in his early days having a crack out at West Adelaide i think?
He has copped alot of criticism but i believe its warranted, with what i've seen & heard of him in the past 2 years he's someone thats been talked up far too much, his capability's far outway his ability. He could be anything but i suppose if your lazy & you have a question mark regarding your character nothing surprises me.
Their was a time last year when he was out at Seaton the coach told him he was going to get a job on Glen Sandford PHOS, i think the thought of playing on Glen brought "fear" he all of a sudden complained of a sore hamstring & didn't train for the week or even bother going to watch his side play on the Sat, apparently the coach knew where his problem layed, between his ears!
True story as told to me by the coach himself.

NM, thats not the attitude that I'd associate with Frase, but I only see him 3 times a week up close as opposed to a bystander whose opinions are mostly wrong.

Frase' game yesterday was impeccable.

Would have had 30 kicks, maybe one handball, at least ten tackles, ten marks, and 15 hit outs.

Best game I've seen him play in conditions that really didn't suit.

Great games be a few young blokes, particularly lunny playing his first a grade game.

8 teenagers played for us yesterday as well as four 20 year olds. Good for the future. Few superstars came back from lay-off and were clearly the difference.

We'll give it a red hot crack at PNU and hope Modbury do the right thing :D

I'm thinking your over exagerating, actually i know you are.
I really hope he changes for the better, he seems a nice enough sort of bloke. Why don't you ask him about the story? If he's honest with himself. he shouldn't deny it.
Why would the coach tell me bullsh!t?
He's honest & tells it as it is.

Having seen Modbury yesterday you'll have no worries of an upset, they are a very good side. You'd think your game would hold a little more motivation for you blokes than PNU. It's a dead rubber for them so they're probably looking forward to Mad Monday. Battle for 5th spot has taken an interesting turn, my old club have had their plans severely dented with some plans gone wayward. They'll need to turn things around pretty quickly otherwise it'll be an early exit even if they do get through to the first week

TOOL OF THE WEEK

I don't know who he is and I don't really care. All I can say is he is the time keeper from UNI'S and sits under the old score board. (They should have locked him up in there)

As Uni's B grade were running out I made a passing comment to another spectator, my comment was "bloody hell look at the size of those bastards"

In this country "bastard" is almost a term of endearment

Well, this tosser went boonta, telling me to watch my language and generally getting into me, I stood there with my mate and we were dumbfounded. After a lengthy tyrade, I soon let him know
that he was without a doubt king of the idiots and deserves "tool of the week"

Can anyone top that?

Now Inflight... you can't say anything bad about Uni or anyone associated therewith. They'll sick their 46 lawyers onto you faster than you can say "You bastard"...

Inflight i can add to this nomination. When the Modbury team official went to ask for the time remaining in the B grade as it was close, he said he wouldnt tell him anything until he got out of his "bloody"(bastard, bloody = no difference) way as our official slightly covered his view of the game with his umbrella. He also threatened to blow the siren half way through the last quester of the A grade and have us escorted from the uni oval by police as we were standing under some cover of the scoreboard to get out of the HAIL.....

Ha, can't say I recall The Uni time keeper.

Contenders for us would be our b grade coach for the ridiculous shoes he wore whilst coaching. Disgraceful.

Or possibly the poor bloke who laughed at me for boundary umpiring last week for the B grade at Athelstone. He did it this week in the hail! Saturday's weather made last weeks weather conditions look wonderful.

Hope PNU ARE thinking of Mad Monday, but I doubt it with Macca in charge.

SMOSH B grade still playing while despite losing so many players to the A's.

The time keeper also went on the oval at quarter time abusing the goal umpires and field umpires after they called an out of the full a point for modbury..... very funny to watch and Modbury boys around the huddle made sure he heard what they thought of his antics

Not absolutely certain if this is true but I am lead to believe the Uni time keeper is related to a famous lower grade Uni umpire.
