They have plenty of youth on their side (which helps) but as soon as they got the footy they had 3-4 runners just bolting up field. We had a good month of footy going into the game (winning our last 3 games) and thought we would be at least competitive against the top side but they just ran all over us. Doesn't help when we had one on the bench for the whole game.......the joys of D grade footy.

IMO, PAOC won't lose another game for the year including the GF.

And by the look of it you got them without their two gun forwards. They could dish out some ugly results going on.

Anyone else toying with the idea of switching their C's and D's the week they play Hope Valley?

Yeah could've been more of a hiding if Dent and Bilyk?? were playing. Dent tore us a new one the first time we played them.

Should hop on here and congratulate North Haven's C grade side on the way they handled themselves after the game on saturday. Its been a trying season for our C graders, and understandably we were stoked to get the win on saturday. It was fantastic to hear the NH lads congratulate us, exactly the attitude you would hope to recieve at this level of footy.

Well done lads and good luck for the rest of the season.

Interesting to hear the match report from the Hope Valley D grade v PNU. Now I will prefix it with I was not there but back at the club I did see with my own eyes black eyes, fat lips and a concussion and heard all about the death threats labelled by some classy individuals today.

I have a lot of respect for their club and have friends at the club and a ton of respect for the senior coach but behaviour like that is a disgrace. D grade or not its a shit reflection on a good club.

As i intimated in my post above there are some very unsavoury characters associated with that team who Hope Valley would be better to steer away from. They have a number of great blokes and champion footballers (obviously lead by big Andre) but I can think of at least 6 who did their best to harm the reputation of a proud football club.

I wasn't there either but I did hear that Payneham decided to go the knuckle once they were 8-9 goals down. One player even kneed a HV player in the head. It's easy to jump on here and sling shit our way when you guys were the ones starting the bullshit behind the play stuff. Our team was winning the ball and the game, why would they want to fight?

And why was the only send off one of your players if we were so bad?

Everyone shook hands after the game. Except for two sooks who come on here and bad mouth our club. Sore losers.

Sorry PG. should have realised! C grade weren't a bad bunch of blokes tho. Must admit, I got there late and went straight in the rooms so didn't see their d grade superstars!

Ok STOP!

Everything on this page is heresay and you should all know better about coming on here about ANY club and slagging off because you wouldn't like anyone to do it to yours.

Wristy - don't come on here and accuse anyone of passing off death threats if you don't have proof. That's a pretty serious accusation.

Demon - don't resort to personal attacks, if anyone is going to have a crack at the evil empire, it's me ;)

Disappearing posts

NWG hit the nail on the head. Cs won by 14 goals. If only your clubs A grade could gain promotion via your D grade, you guys would be heading to Div 1 next year. Don't worry we were just like you 11 years ago in div 4 with a bunch of sandbaggers putting themselves before the club. I'm confident you will turn it around eventually.
