Elizabeth Vs CBCOC
CBOC should get their year of to a flying start and will get the tough road trip out the way early in the season. CBCOC 3 goals

Rosewater Vs Smithfield
Huge game for both clubs trying to stamp themselves in Div5. Rosewater would be disappointed with where they finished last year whilst Smithfield will be looking to keep the momentum going. Smithfield 6 goals

Blackfriars Vs Greenacres
Blacks will be seething from a missed chance last year and look far too strong this week. Haven't heard much out of Greenacres which might be a good thing who knows however they might find this to tough. Blackfriars 8 goals

Pulteney Vs Lockleys
Not much to go on here as no notable ins or outs for either club. Lockleys were very good last year and the jump from 6 to 5 shouldn't be an issue. Pulteney had an up and down year last year yet seemed to be a little of the pace and without any recruits might struggle this year. Lockleys 2 goals

Glenunga Vs Hectorville
Both clubs looking for improved seasons. Looks like Hectorville are slightly better placed to rebound this year and should get the job done against what looks to be a young side who are rebuilding in Glenunga. Hectorville 8 goals

Smithfield got up over Rosewater by 11 points I think.
It was a weird day, strong breeze in one direction but both teams scored more into it.
Good game to watch right to the end.

Saw a father of a player umpire a game in a higher division last year. Good luck with getting it fixed.

I've been asked by HBF to remove all the incorrect allegations before you all ask where the posts went.

He didn't want them to stay there and fair enough.

My source wasn't as credible as I thought. My bad. Still doesn't change how poorly they umpired though. Anyhow nothing to see here.......play on!!

My view is you want to be pretty bloody sure before calling someone's integrity into question.

One thing is constructive criticism, another thing is mean-spirited criticism, but falsely suggesting an umpire is cheating is pretty poor

can anyone give a wrap up on the Rosewater vs Smithfield game?
Was surprised to see the dogs go down, being round 1 and at the kennel.

I've also heard that the umpiring was some of the worse witnessed. It was so poor that it came across as cheating.

So it was a par for the course then?

Division 5 get the 21-25 ranked umpires each week.....

I didn't see much wrong with the umpires we had - hardly noticed them.

We love the umpires at Rosewater
