Is it true Life members are worth 0 or -1 points, hence the recent change to the Kilburn constitution of Premiership Players now qualify as Life Members?

Do I look like the team manager? Who cares we’re playing on about 5 points anyway.

Trippy put a Facebook post up today of Jarrell’s first junior game and first A grade game at Kilburn. You might just be wrong.

With respect to the life member issue, it has always been very difficult to get made a life member of Kilburn. I have played over 300 games and am not a life member. The club decided to make a new category player life member to recognise people that had played a certain number of games or won a premiership. I think it’s pretty much the same as what a lot of clubs do anyway.

With respect to player points it might help every now and then. An example is Josef Rack who was 3 points when he came, even though his dad played in 3 A1 flags and played state footy at Kilburn. That would be the only example of it having any effect in my 19 years at the club.

Had a great night on Friday inducting 4 new “Legends” of the club and recognising the player life members.

Yeah I did see that earlier, didn't realise, could only remember the lad playing at Gepps a few years back.

4 deserving legends.

Yeah but I think Bedgey was asking re the -1 which is only when you’re a junior.

I think he is still under 18?

To be a -1 he needs to have played 25 games of juniors inclusive and after the year he turns 13

Example if he turns 13 in June, that whole season counts towards the 25 games

Some interesting games this week
Can Elizabeth keep their winning form
Gepps with a big challenge to stay in the top 5 or slip to 2-3 with a game vs Lockleys

Thanks to Salisbury for the games today (and the immaculate cleaning of the change rooms) , doing it tough but an absolute class act. Really hope you do enough to stay up as you are my favorite combatants.

Agree with Brodlach, there’s not many clubs around who I respect as much as Salisbury FC. A class act on and off the field, doing it tough but the tide with turn. Hope you guys enjoyed the drinks upstairs after the match

Looks like 4 one sided games and CLG v Elizabeth at Elizabeth. Told we haven’t played seniors out there since 2015

The 4 games went as expected and a tight tussle between CLG and Elizabeth

Thanks to Elizabeth for the day and the amble refreshments after the game, it just kept coming! Very good hosts.

Sad that Salisbury couldn’t field a B grade side this week. Hearing along the grape vine only had about 10 available players.

Some big games this week

Hectorville v CLG but none bigger than Eastern Park vs Elizabeth. Hope the game is played in good spirits, should be a cracker.

Local derby turned into a bit of a fizzer on the scoreboard, heard there was a huge crowd there
Anyone get out there for a look,

One of the biggest crowds I’ve ever seen at an amateur league game on Saturday @ Dwight reserve! Huge success for Eastern park celebrating our 60th anniversary, and got the result we were after in the A grade.. 15 goals but could have easily been 20+ if we kicked straight

Elizabeth entire team were scared and fragile, never seen so many blokes run away from the football or the ball carrier in my career, they won’t win another game until the round starts again.. Was honestly so easy to see that they did not want to be out on that field on Saturday, massive reality check and expect them to have a couple tough nights on the track this week
