Would love to hear that two club umpires had a Ramsgate incident !!!

I nearly had a scrap with an opposing umpire a few years ago, he kept calling frees 100m away when I was right there, he called me a feral, once I called a free in his area he went nuts at me. We were toe to toe at half time, I had to walk away.

Know the ump your refering to, was one of the most fairest umps I come across, even favoured the opposition sides more times than not. (FWIW scores for those games PH 25-18 to 3-3 and PH 21-9 to 9-6)

Everyone's club umpire is generally the fairest they've ever seen. He didn't umpire the first leg.

A young inexperienced A grade group at North Haven will be up and down all year.

Good win in perfect conditions against a team no where near there best and definitely not mentally prepared in Round One.

A loss to a bigger, harder out fit in blustery scrappy conditions in Round Two.

5-7 players under the age of 20 in the starting A grade team.

No recognised Ruckman for another 3 to 4 weeks.
Older players past there prime and probably not willing to pick up the slack when the young lads are off their game.

A little birdy told me that if you are referring to someone whose name also refers to a 'breed of bird' that he may not return to the magpie nest but play elsewhere in a much higher division.

Thats not what i get reading that post.

Eagles has that many clubs after him its not funny, there's rumours baout him leaving all the time. Unfortunately for them he loves it at North Haven and highly doubt he would be leaving.

Salisbury West v Lockleys- I think Westies will bounce back this week and beat Lockleys at home.
Rosewater v Hope Valley- Rossies at home, HV haven't started well.
West Croydon v Plympton- The Hawks have started well in Div 5 and will continue that good start by beating the Red Dogs at home.
North Haven v Brahma Lodge- Huge game, looking forward to it, will be close IMO. I hope we can bounce back and put in a good performance at home.
Adelaide Lutheran v Woodville South- The Cats who have started really well should win this week to make it 3 in a row.

Is it true a former B&F at Portland and high vote getter in the association and former bulldog is heading out to West Croydon? If true would be a handy pick up once his fitness is up to where it needs?
