They were 5 goal up at three 1/4 time first time against SHOCS to go down and cant remember the PHOS game. nd time around they beat SHOCS,Modbury and PHOS at home and havent lost sincePembroke beat them in the first round when they had a dirty day. I would not be writing them off at all. Especially with the best big man in DIV 2 Golding,a quality on baller in Ridley the leading goal kicker in the league Hibberd and one of the best defenders going around in Treasure. HOW COULD YOU WRITE THEM OFF AS NO CHANCE IN THE FINALS OR SAY THEY ARE MAKING UP THE NUMBERS

i can only go on what i have seen and when they have played Modbury. 1st time Modbury played down there Modbury kicked 1 goal 6 to 6 goals straight then we swithced on and kicked straight hardly let it slip Modbury just didnt kick straight. Our undersized 17yo ruckman sat on golding and matched him around the ground. 2nd time no vassal and had to play B grade ruckman who went down first quarter and had to have our full forward ruck the whole game. Struggled to score after that and ran out of legs due to heavy training schedule(good coaching IMO) Towns scored from there opportunities. IMO i havent seen towns play as well as what i have seen Modbury SHOC and PHOS play...... but thats my opinion..... That Modbury v Towns game in round 2 i must say was a great game skillful tough and attacking

FS time to talk some facts!! Round #10 Edw @ Mod: Vassall DID play... As for no ruckman both Hencel and D. Mitchell shared ruck duties that day... Any team that can win 7 in a row and has beaten every other team [yes all 9] in the comp has to some sort of silly chance in Sept???? Excuse my ignorance but in chatrooms IMO stands for??

In my opinion

If you have a look properly it's only been updated once since rd 12. Think the bloke that does it is away. Ease up M. Rucci!

Hey Footysmart maybe u should change ur name to IMO... I think we have all had just about enough of your opinion for one week haha.
I agree with Jayne, Edwardstown are far from making up numbers. There A grade are hitting some good form and have played some quality games. Not to mention some of the hammerings there B grade have handed out. Im thinking this final series is going to be an absolute belter.

What i should do is clarify my opinion of Edwardstown and there finals chances.... I think that PHOS SHOC and Modbury when playing there best footy are much better than Towns. So they are probably not just making up the numbers they will need to not allow the top 3 to play there best and then perform exceptionally themselves. Tough to do...... But in the end everyone can say what they think the opposite will probably happen and towns will win the flag

From what I hear of PNU's oval, 4 goals will be a winning score if they have any rain this week?

Anyone seen it recently?

SMOSH is the worst I've seen it at my time at the club!

Modbury oval is really muddy in the middle and wet under foot on the club wing but the other wing and foward 50's are perfect still.....

I have heard that there wil be a triple header at Modbury this weekend with Pembroke??? can anyone confirm???? should be good hopefully the bad weather stays away

I saw it last night briefly.. it's about average for this time of year :D

If there is any rain you'll be half a chance Turbo, PNU aren't a wet weather team.. never have been..might have something to do with not training when it rains

AS far as I knwo French has played most games - He wasn't spectacular against us - Took on a small 17 year old first gamer and got pummeled to the ground. Still doesn't liek doing the hard things...

I'm pretty sure we'd be happy to have a scrap in the mud - PNU were a very skilled running team when he played against them.

Don't think there will be much in it.

Yeah the boys are looking forward to the challenge of rucking against an ex "superstar"

I think its great that the last round of the year still holds the fate of so many sides. Shows how even the comp has been this year. Good luck to ya Turbo, if u knock off PNU maybe u do deserve to stay up. We are gonna do our best to get rid of the old pembroke boys!

Exactly Sass Modbury has built up a good rivalry with Pembroke and have come through the grades with eachother..... should be a very competative game as always with Pembroke playing for survival.
