There depth is good also, so injuries may not worry them as much as it will other teams down the track. Check my tips boys - i picked Mitcham to beat Haven (Mind you, i also picked us to beat Para Hills !). I still think Haven are good, but there are definatly a few teams who can match it with them, and probably beat them come finals.
For the record too Pag, Micky and Fisty only train properly ONCE a year!!!

no votes or games to be won on the training track felch, the jester's book of how to play footbal has an entire section on training etiquette

Doubt that. He just went back to Roseys after a few games with Districts because his heart is with Roseys... why then would he up ship and play for Encounter Bay? Really doubt that.

Now let's just think about that comment. I rekon it was this forum that gave haven the reputation of being the REAL DEAL. I know that no one at haven is saying that. However if we were the real deal, yor blokes should be lining up against Colonel Light Gardens. Haven are going along just nicely. No flags won in June!

very true but surely havens would like to be sitting a little better even in june? beaten by a side on the weekend not too many are rating as a real flag threat, almost beaten by a severely under manned portland? many will agree with me Havens are extremely beatable and are not likely to be division 3 next year. I'd have to say all teams in D4 are beatable this year. There is no Salisbury West comparison this year. But it's unwise to think any side will be in D3 in 08 yet. Far to many variables to consider. Many things must go right for a side at the right time to win a flag.

Probably both of you are blowing your bags a bit early. Superboot, you said prior to last weeks game that you blokes would smash Mitcham - well ? And Micky, to say Haven are unlikely to be in D3 next year is silly - with the calibre of players they recruited, they would have to be very short odds to make a GF. The only sensible statement made was that it is only June.

Yeah, Mitcham played pretty well Saturday. No excuses for Haven. But must look forward!
