I thought our second and third quarters were good. Flinders Uni did some good things in the first and last quarters.

Id have to say it was our worst performance all year. I felt we just thought we would rock up and win by 30 goals but took us untill the second qtr to get going and then we also had a decent 3rd qtr but the last qtr was a bit of a joke i thought we spent most of the time fighting and giving away free kicks and not putting the foot down and extending our lead.

Need to be alot better against Mitchell Pk next week if we want to win and also need to finally put in a 4qtr effort.

Well, that mail could not have been any more wrong.

Couple of interesting results. Margins a lot closer than I would've thought.

Comp tightening up a little bit?

Yeah i agree i thought St Pauls would easily account for Salisbury West.

But i thought Adelaide Uni Angle Vale game could of gone either way.

Are Mitchell Pk ready for a big one this week :)

Hope so! Otherwise an absolute shellacking is on the cards.

Disappointed I can't be there actually - especially being a New Zealander ;)

Yeah, we've got an Army Worm infestation in the turf. I was due to spray it out before my 'incapacitation'.

army worms? Do they wear fatigues? 8) they don't have feet, so how do they wear their little army boots ;)

I thought lots of worms meant good soil?

Army Worm eats new shoots in turf and leaves castings on the oval. The turf should be thick with growth, but it's not.

Well, if we can field two sides, and not be in the paper during the week ala Smythsdale, then the people involved should consider it a success. 7 of our top 10 would be outs.

I reckon our Reserves would be 50/50 at this stage. :?
