What, anymore than you already have. I'm really not trying to do anything, you stoked my fire and now I'm stoking yours but mine actually holds some semblence of truth. Do you actually believe Roach and Occa don't talk anymore, I wouldn't get too excited, when they got to you it was filled with contempt.

Ha ha, again nice try. I must be a gun if they're talking about me!

I'd be worried if Roach thought I was no good. He seems to overestimate peoples abilities, e.g. thinking this years Uni team would make the div 1 finals.

Speaking of key position players, does Uni have any? Not when I saw them play. SHOCs dominated you with their strength too and this will be a big advantage in the slippery conditions. Is this match the one at Kenilworth? Can't see the transients winning so after this week Rotter can jump on the Kilburn train!

GOING TO BE A GREAT FINALS SERIES IN THE B GRADE. I think any side could take it out.

yeah true about the Magoo's finals. If u look at it every team has beaten eachother at one time or another during the year. . . Port Districts 2's took out the flag from 5th last year and there A grade finished minor premiers and also took out the flag. A sign? i would like to think so!

Modbury have not beaten smosh as yet this year, but they have a massive task in knocking off the ragies this week. still think PHOS wil have to be the favourites for the GF.

Modbury lost to SMOSH by a point down at west lakes and drew with PHOS at PHOS. One thing with the Hawks is in the last few years they have started terrible and seem to hit form and get players back coming to the business end of the season. They missed the finals by half a game last year and will be looking to get a win over the raggies this week.

PHOS are usually strong in the 2's and SMOSH seem to have some strong bodies. SHOC run hard and are fit so all point towards a tough finals series coming up.

yeah sorry i didnt mean everyone had beaten each team i just ment most sides had knocked off at least 2 or 3 teams in the finals. PHOS havnt beaten modburys b grade yet though. 4 goal loss and a draw i believe.
Good to c that no team is in there just to make up the numbers.

Raggies to beat E-town who will be suffering a hang over from the SHOCs win
PHOS will win and continue to hold on for a top 2 finish

???????????????????????????????????????
Must be a fair hangover for Towns as the SHOC game was a fortnight ago, they beat PNU easily last week...

Yeah Jayne got my weeks mixed up.

I caught up with a few towns boys after that game, and they really enjoyed the win :drinkers: and why not after a good win.

I haven't written much this year on this site but gosh it was great to buy the Sunday Mail last week & read that Smosh will be relegated back to Div 3 -
Congratulations on winning The Div 3 2007 premiership boys (Smosh) but to be relegated the year after back to Div 3 how pathetic is that.
I understand you have alot of injuries but which club doesn’t. Hopefully your B grade can salvage something out of a wasted year.
Surprising you don’t hear much from the Smosh boys on this site when your playing out right sh!t footy.

P.s Thebaton oval is in great shape - Very well maintained & looked after.

Congratulations to Athelstone on a great year in Div 2, finishing just outside of the Five & hopefully you can go one step better next year & play finals footy.

You could say it was a wasted year at SMOSH but in the last few games we had 10 guys under the age of 20 playing in the As and a further 7 under 24, with a lot of them coming back to B grade for finals. So we have blooded the next brigade coming through. Cruzn9 injuries have hurt us, like other teams i know... but when you loose Chris Kluzek, Lukey Porplycia, Lyndon Parham and Pat Jenkinson to season ending injuries with 6 games to go its hard to stay up, these guys are the heart of the team plus the experience. Plus the retirement of stalwart Joshy netchicowsky is gonna hurt... but the youth is there! Thats the only positive out of this year.

The youth talent will be on show in the Bs finals for SMOSH good luck to Trent Hancock and the lads

That will be a big loss...always played really well against the Raggies.

Will Kluzek, Porplycia, Parham be back next year? What about Cakebread?

Big call this but it will be interesting to see how SMOSH goes in the B's. It has been very hard to get a free kick in the forward line this year from Mr Amos and it might make a difference having neutral umpires. Expect they would still be pretty good especially if they are getting a whole heap of players back.

After Kluzek doing another bad ankle injury he has to retire from all footy. Parham will most probably move interstate for work, but we hope he stays, Porplycia is going overseas for a third of next season and will be back for the ladder part of the season. Also big Tim King the ruckman out at Smosh for years has also retired, so the re-building begins

Just quietly Smosh's Bs will go very well

Edwardstown on a bit of a roll at present with wins over some very good sides of late, the win Sat against PHOS is a warning to other sides not to take the Townies easy, they may well be the surprise packet.
Interesting whether this game Modbury v Edwardstown gets played at Modbury, if we have no rain this week it should go ahead but alot of rain could see this game transfered to an oval with grass on it!
