I am sure she is and everyone is different.

Just a trend I've noticed that is seemingly getting worse.

You'd prefer your missus didn't care that you said you'd be home in an hour and you weren't?

I would not only prefer it, I'd insist! If I want to stay later or do something else, I will. Wouldn't need to ask permission or seek clarification either. And she wouldn't text me asking where I am. She trusts me and knows I always do the right thing so there would be no need.

She is afforded the same license as well. That's the license of being a fully grown adult with free will.

Understand that with kids you;d probably need to collaborate a bit more.

Congrats to Para Hills on making the GF and promotion.. I love hanging crap at times on ya, but it's all in fun - fact is to come back from last years situation, regroup, bring back key personnel and move forward is a credit to the people driving the club.

A lot of great guys tied up with the senior footy sides, and the junior structure is really improving as well. Lot of positives.

Good luck for the big one, I hope you win - mostly because i'm still bitter that Adelaide Lutheran beat me in this years cricket GF

It's not the matter of staying later and needing permission, my missus would worry I'm safe and ok is the point I was making.
Each to their own though :)

What the heck are you doing to make you need to tell your significant other that you're safe and well? Are you a war correspondent in Syria or something?

but I agree, each to their own, whatever works for you, but I'll never understand it.

My point is if I told her I will be home by a certain time and I know that's not going to be the case, I will let her know I will be later rather than let her worry why I'm not home around the time I said.

I guess the majority of those times for me stems from my running training in the hills and trails and she worries I'm not fallen over down a hill or bitten by a snake etc etc.

Not once has that ever crossed my mind in my now many relationships... the very idea of telling someone where I am or if plans change makes my skin crawl.

Perhaps those things are related

Ahh carn Grand Finals are always more fun when you pick a side. I've been on the Para Hills bandwagon for a while now so hitch up and get on board.
