63 min mark.

Rather soft looking free kick, player stands over the guy on the ground, two WC guys step in he pushes them back, they come back couple little jumper punches, they fold like a deck of cards then bit of a scuffle and #7 gets sent off

Agree, wasn’t much in it by the looks of it although he may have got him high when coming in. Trainer did well to get him off and help calm the situation

Gepps X having their first loss of the season to Kilburn, will be an interesting battle next week when they take on CLG down there.

Just quietly though, biggest thing that has been missed - the alleged king hit of the WC coach.. really you must be either real stupid or real crazy to target Thommo..

**** talk about pickin your battles

The apparent king hit on is news to me.
I know he approached the coaches box and maybe got in thommos face. I’m sure if he king hit him it would have been on for young and old.
Luckily that wasn’t the case!!!
I do agree, you would have to be a silly man to go down that path with thommo.
Thommo and the guys on their bench at the time were pretty good about the whole situation.
Our player has since been stood down for his actions. Simple as that.!!!!
Once again thanks WCFC

Relegation battle still very interesting - if Elizabeth lose both games and either Woody South or Blackfriars win 1 of their remaining two, then the Eagles will be headed back to D6.

If Eastern Park can win both games and either Woody South or Blackfriars lose both games, then potentially could finish 8th and avoid the drop.

Pulteney vs Elizabeth and Woodville South vs Trinity OS are massive games this week.

Why would you sack a player for getting in a heated argument with the opposition coach?
Hearing a bit more went on than what’s being let on

The reason we have chosen to move this player on is that this is not his first offence this year for damage to another clubs coaches box and interacting with spectators when he shouldn’t be. As much as you call BS this is true and we as a club don’t have the best record for yellow and red cards of late and we are trying really hard to minimise these situations. And if that means sacking a player then yeah that’s what we will do and continue to do after multiple warnings.

In fairness when you finish the minor round with a % of 35 you need to be going down. It’s not like you’re a rocket scientist and proving everyone wrong with your point…

I bet before the start of the round most people would have expected them to stay up. Blackfriars who are also a very average side upsetting West Croydon saved them and demoted Elizabeth.

Well done old mate, keep those awesome predictions coming in.
Wasn’t a great year by all means.
But to lose the players we did early in the year and win 5 games when most said we would even win a game I feel is a good effort.
We had a crack, that’s all we can do.
We could have taken the easy option and requested to go down, but we didn’t.
Defeating woody south twice and Blackfriars twice I would have thought it was highly likely we would stay up.
Over the past 3 weeks we’ve seen Trinity get smashed by woody south and Blackfriars with the upset yesterday.
Couldn’t have been worse for us with the end results. But that’s footy!!! So maybe it is our time back down in div 6.
