I'd thank Portland, but I'm slighty f****** pissed off to be honest. I thought C grade this year has been pretty good behaviour wise (except for Pulteney, but we all know they are a bunch of twats anyways). But after Saturday's effort my opinion of Portland (edit.. THUGLAND) has diminished. I know fisty, felch, micky etc are good blokes... but that certain set of brothers who "play" for you guys in C4 should be shown the f****** door.

Running from about 20m away to hit a guy, from behind, who was holding guys back from a melee and then sprinting off the field because he was scared is the lowest act I've seen this year. Then his brother, who was already sent off 2 mins before hand tries to have a go at someone on our bench.

Then at 3/4 time your "coach/captain" gets the guy who was sent off to change jumpers, change his hair style and come back on the field. Very classy act. The rest of the Portland guys are good blokes but this trio (duo mainly though) are just out and out snipers. Hit and then run away like little girls.

I dunno what numbers you guys have a portland training, but you have to really look who the f*** you want to play for your club. Send them to Wingy Royals or something, at least they'd fit in.

End of rant... onto next week.

sound a bit angry westsider

The C grade can always be a problem with that kind of stuff, thats why we prefer our younger blokes(U18's) to play B grade or higher - i think they can learn bad habits in the lower grades. From what ive seen and heard this year, the blokes in question havent been a problem, as Fisty said, seem like ok guys. Hopefully just a one-off. In all seriousness though, the ump should report them if it is that bad, let the tribunal deal with them. I think you will find there are 4 brothers too, so that may have actually been a different guy, rather than the same one with a new hairstyle. As far as i know, there isnt a hairdressing kit in the C grade gear

Ross Ormsby, the cousin of pro golfer Wade Ormsby, is still keen for a promotion to the A grade out at Unley to finish off the season.

Yeah there's a couple of the quirk boys playin at Haven. Young Quirk played in the A's on the weekend. Good kid, decent skills, probably a little light on size for consistant A grade spot, but haven had a good 6 starting senior players missing last week, so it was good to bleed some youth.

Anyone know what happened with the Rosewater v Mitcham game? Were Mitcham just ordinary or did they take a backward step at Rosies attack on the footy, which is usually very good.

Can't work Rosewater out either. Beat Ingle Farm by 3 points, beat Mitcham by 5 goals?

Can anybody please explain Pultneys performance last weekend.Yes true as it may be that the farms will be demoted for next season they are still playing with plenty of passion and have beaten Pultney at the last 3 outings, very keen to ko anybodys finals asperations. 16 year old kid B.O.G for raccas last week on a wing, no.13 also fantastic, on baller, Poorac are mounting a very serious challenge.

The 16 year-old is named Ben Russell, can play, is at North Under 17s though so won't see much of him for the rest of the year I wouldn't think. Kane Moore is number 13, kicked a few goals from half-forward this year.

And I'm not sure whether Pulteney thought they were still playing at Morgan Oval on Saturday, but they seemed like they refused to kick long out of defense. They would use 15 metre chips and I'm not sure if they worked out that it would've taken about 30 kicks to make it to their forward 50. Gave their forwards no chance whatsoever. And they probably happened to get us on one of our best days for the year.

Silly thing is Pag Benny plays cricket at Farmers.Good cricketer as well, battled our best to get him to play footy for us but he has always been a pooraka junior.Great kid, wish him all the best and on last weeks effort certaintly has a bright future, busted his leg 2 years ago which set him back a bit.On another note seeing as you blokes will play a big part in the main action please dont let Para Hills go all the way, cant believe they have only lost one game, take your chances finals competitors.
