There is also a coach thinking about retiring from The twos word has it that both hamstrings took a beating Saturday after kicking three goals ,one after the siren to win the game the old man is just finding it too hard to back up week after week.

Thats not true. Hes definately playing out the year and hopefully playing on next year to get his 300 club games. I for one would not like to see him retire in the near future. Hes been a major influence in my footy, and hopefully will be for at least a little while longer.

Yeah he names me captain, and i get suspended...good start

On that suspension...ive seen that there were players on striking charges, who got off, but apparently saying "cop that" to an umpire who, according to the neutral A grade umpires watching the end of the b grade, is "blatantly (insert C word)", is an automatic red card (after the game has finished) and automatic week suspension, without even asking for my version of events. I dont know what i even got done for, coz he couldve said anything. I should have been given the chance to face the tribunal last night and plead my case....but nope, guess not.

Also, the umpire in question should not be trusted, going by what he did in the closing stages of the game. Word of warning to everyone...if you play woodie south and its a close game, prepare for free kicks that arent there paid against you, and if they still cant run over you, he'll make up rules like "your supporters swore at me so im giving woodie south a free 30m out directly in front, when you're 1 point up with a minute to go".....for example ;)

Nothing against woodie south, they played a great game against us, and im in no way a sore winner...but it kinda puts a question mark in my mind about how good they actually are, if this "biased" guy is umpiring every game. Im definately going to see if we can get an alternate umpire for the next time we play them.

In summary, i think this has been very unfair. If they let me tell my side of the story, and still found me guilty, so be it...but we heard absolutely nothing until about 5pm tonight...
