Biggest crowd seen in years.
29 years for the B Grade
13 years for the A Grade
29 years since an A & B Grade double.
3rd time it has been done, 1987, 89 & 93.
Few other records and hoodoos smashed this year will list them later on once I've had a good sleep.
2 FROM 2 IN 2022

D1’s problem now.
Nice to be back everyone otherwise.

Massive signing. Won Lobeys B&F and also the premiership. Huge coup

Zero pointer as well isn't he? Huge.

I suspect that's the case.
It's one of the real problems with the rule. He probably played hundreds of junior games for Athelstone, but because of his talents ended up spending his later teens at Norwood/in state squad. Always considered it ridiculous that being at one club from 8 to 14 (and never being at a different community club) wouldn't be an exception to make someone a zero pointer.

Give it a few more years and i would think the SAAFL could expand the zero pointer rule on the basis all junior records will be online so it wont be so much of a honesty system.

Be reasonably easy to prove that Mitch Grigg first signed up at Athelstone when he was 7 years old, played every season there through Under 13s, then started splitting his time with Norwood/state programs etc.
There would only be a handful of players a year that this would ever be necessary for. Wouldn't be that hard.

Any junior footy before 13 at the club and you become a zero in your Second year
