Not really non-belief, just realism. We will have a crack though.

Well well, 2 games to go and the draw between North Haven and Pooraka really makes things interesting.

Para Hills - top spot sealed
Mitcham - 1 win ahead of 3rd, to play North Haven and Pooraka
Salisbury - 1 win behind 2nd (der!), to play Ingle Farm and Unley
North Haven - 2 1/2 games behind 3rd, equal with 5th, to play Mitcham and Pulteney
Pooraka - 2 1/2 games behind 3rd, equal with 4th, to play Pulteney and Mitcham
Portland - 1 1/2 games behind 4th/5th, to play Para Hills and Rosewater
Pulteney - 1 1/2 games behind 4th/5th, to play Pooraka and North Haven

These next 2 games are huge for a whole heap of clubs.

North Haven and Pooraka need 1 win to seal finals. Both teams will probably have to beat Pulteney as I can't see them beating Mitcham, although I think NH have a shot if a few key players are back.

Portland and Pulteney need 2 wins, and no wins to North Haven and Pooraka. I think Portland are dead having to play Para Hills this week. Pulteney are a chance, but they'll have to play out of their skin to beat 2 teams in 2 weeks fighting to clinch their own finals aspirations.

Salisbury can finish 2nd and they currently have better % than Mitcham. They are also the only top 5 team who are playing bottom 3 teams for the last 2 rounds. Salisbury are a chance as Mitcham will be facing 2 teams desperate to play finals and they may drop a game.

Should be a great final 2 rounds.

Westsider, great call. It will be huge with teams scrambling to get in.

Anyone want to takethe plunge and name there final five now then?

Westsider do you think that Div 4 would be close to the most anticipated finals series in SAAFL due to the bottle neck of teams tryingto gain finals action? I mean is there any other divs that are this tight?

very well summed up champ,
while still a possibilty, anything could happen but i think it will stay exactly as it is.
portland and pulteney not playing well enough to displace nth haven or pooraka,
1st week of finals : mitcham v salisbury, & pooraka v nth haven.

Have to agree with you mate, Portland playing no where near good enough and Pulteney up and down like yo-yos. I reckon Pooraka may finish 4th though. Am i correct in saying that would give Pooraka the option of a home final ?
Rosies vs Unley this week a huge game, a bit of history between them over the years i believe.
