NF I reckon the new coach would have plenty of his own cattle to add to the quality at the Thunder Dome.

Im led to believe that Lindsay Bassani will be the new coach at the thunder. The locals at Encounter Bay are intending to run him out of town. They reckon its just not big enough for someone of lindsays high profile.

I have no idea about this Bassani bloke but he is
obviously the most hated man in football.

How do so many people know this guy is bad news
to their clubs but he still gets coaching jobs.

Does he have the same method for each club he goes to and
then gets kicked out of each one, what is this guys deal.

Ive heard he is full of **** makes promises he cant keep, pretends to be something he is not and just basically floats from club to club draining important funds to feed his massive ego. I'm not sure that he was that good of a player either.

It is hard to find anything good posted about him anyway.

I'm not here to debate ones popularity but I've heard he goes alright, apparently has already been asked to re-sign with the Bays in 08 however is considering an under age role at a Bay of a different kind... But it is mere rumours and speculation.

I also heard Coppo saying as he walking off that 'he didn't care how bad the umpiring was cos he's retiring anyway', but he was somehwat frustrated at their performance so I didn't take it for much.

Pulteney OS v Pooraka (Morgan Oval to claim another scalp)
Portland v Para Hills (Third trip to the port in three weeks though)
Ingle Farm v Salisbury
Mitcham v North Haven
Unley v Rosewater (Rosies to head to A5)

I play in the GSFL where Bassani coaches and he is not well liked. Its interesting to come to the Div 4 thread and find similar opinions. I dont know the bloke, but he must be the most sledged person in sa footy!
