It is definitely not the reason he left Districts for the 3rd time but it was a major factor for him walking out on Havens a few seasons ago then on Seaton 2 weeks later

For the record he got best players votes that day but didn't get an award at the club because they werre given to a couple of youngsters that had good games, I guess the pay packet and playing with a dozen of his mates wasn't enough.
