it was a full on game for sure zartan so it will be a light week for us..

beating SFC at smithfield is the mount everest of the lower grades..but we know we only lost by 10 points first time we met out there and we won by 4-5 goals at rutland avenue the second time around..a refreshed and rested SFC might prove to be the difference in the second half of the game but only time will tell..we will go in confident but aware of the enormity of the task and the huge prize waiting for the winner..

I didn't notice any Smithfield folk down having a nosey. Obviously quite comfortable and not fussed who they play?

Zedman that's one of the worst conditions I have seen Lockleys oval in. We were looking to back some winners as some of the long patches of grass were Morphetville like.

yeah its looking very worked over and has weed patches everywhere..i think the council missed half the oval when mowing it last week and it certainly isnt the usual standard..fawk reserve looks fantastic right now..will be a bowling green by saturday..

Yeah it does hold up a lot better these days especially with no more soccer on it carving up the club side. Middle can still get boggy but I think its definitely one of the better ovals.
