Hows the centre square looking at Hope Valley this week?
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Now now, we've been blessed this year, I havent seen it this week yet but it's still very green as opposed to brown and the centre square is still in tact enough for me to venture into it , normally by this time of year I won't venture anywhere near it in fear of going AOT

Thanks FC, good to hear. Not much you can do about the turf wickets in the middle of winter.

We have the opposite problem, as the grounds get softer Havens oval seems to get harder.

Brahma were going to have to make 8 changes this week, plus the coach, as all were stuck at Melbourne airport after a weekend away. I've been told 8 hours stuck in a car from Melbourne to Adelaide is enough to make some take up smoking.....

Exactly. 8) ;)

I hope the HV oval centre wicket is nice and firm this weekend and that the the rain holds off. Playing in the middle there last year was ridiculous, you could hardly move in there and it was almost impossible to accelerate and start to run off, it was just so boggy.

Rumours Mick Geddes has been in contact with Hope Valley and may try and get a clearance from Mitcham to Hope Valley. Apparently first words were 'it's a long drive how much money will you pay me'
If HV are after a midfielder who can't complete 10mins of hard running sign him up.
Any truth to this rumor FC
