Good appointment. Club has been on a steady path and stability at the top is a good sign that things are on the right track.. Well done to Paul and IFFC

Do you think it was a good appointment?

Clubs wanted to lock in the A grade coach at this stage, the B and C grade positions remain open for next season at this point in time, and the club will address both roles at the conclusion of the season.

Who the hell has dial up these days? Does that even exist anymore?

All I can picture is the old 56k modem and that annoying connecting tone you used to get when you connected to the net haha

Makes no sense not reappointing you if you want the job. You're record stacks up against most with regular finals appearances. Cant ask much more from a reserves coach giving depth to the Agrade side.

Don't really want to discuss on here, but never said they wont reappoint me, just waiting until the season concludes before looking into it. Fair play by the club, never know what might happen between now and then. Also never said I want to do it again either..

Got finals to focus on and hopefully having two Ingle Farm sides give it a serious crack!

Now onto tomorrow.. Can Mitchell Park topple the Hawks?!

Q who is coaching the reserves tomorrow? You or Hendo in our battle to avoid bottom spot...

West Croydon for me with Vessali slotting in nicely the last couple weeks kicking goals. Tough match up for Mitchell Pk.

Vessali is a monster up forward. Very handy late season addition. Hawks were very impressive on the weekend. Mitchell Hills wont win but should do enough to avoid relegation if HD don't knock the Roys off

Was Vessali coming off a knee injury earlier in the year

What about the magoos? What can we do to help morel's mob get over the line lol?

Campbell - strong full forward, uses his body well, solid build, likely to stay at home more than lead up.
Dane Bottrell - Ruckman/KPP, good work rate and safe hands, usual target for kick ins, link up well through him.
Sawtell - Older midfielder, crafty, regularly goes to good spots & finds space, often use him as their prime mover through the middle & transitioning out of defence.
Emery - Dangerous midfielder/HFF - works well with Sawtell.
Grose - Winger from memory, bit of toe, but think the MP wingers will give him a bath.
Purshce - Fair lump of a lad, usually plays down back, but been known to be a target up forward.
Beaton - Chops out in the ruck for Bottrell. Doesn't really impact games, Hulk should have him covered here.
Stubberfield - Well we know he's a monster up forward. Being coach be interesting how much game time he has.
C. Smith - Think he played against us early in the year, and from memory started in a FP - was deceptively quick for his size and had good hands.
L. Bottrell - Rebounding HBF, keep him accountable defensively, don't allow him freedom to run off.

No Weetra, Eddie Wilson, Birch, Francis, Malupo or Widdison, I think WC don't look as quick across the ground as usual.

Backline is very strong, and good size - but can be exposed with a bit of leg speed I think.

Midfield is a quagmire, I would be looking to avoid the centre square where possible, use the wings and width of the ground. Pockets are reasonably narrow so you can still straighten and have high percentage shots inside 50.

I'm probably wrong, but don't think Mitchell Park look as strong as they have this season though :(
