Let's not dwell on the past anyway haha, another day.. we move on. 8)

Good day overall at Kilburn, the organisational work behind the scenes by their people was brilliant - and we were certainly very appreciative of being able to play our women's after the A grade game.

Even at 7:00pm as the women wound up there was still a very healthy contingent of people.

Was good to catch up with old mates - some I haven't seen in a very long time.

I have sore hands from signing autographs half the night, but these are the things that need to be done when you're a legend of the place. 8)

Well if thats the case then he should never be given the flags to wave again - That mistake was clear as day and against other sides could start a riot!

Just spoke with a back man who was adamant it went over the post and swung after the line. If the ball went through the middle of the goals it would have bent behind the left goal post not land behind the right one. The camera angle is deceptive and after watching it in slow mo none of us can tell where the line is, I’m backing in Larry. Everyone else suck it :D

giggling looking at my phone and messages to my partner..

6:00pm - if you're leaving can you buy me a beer first and bring me some cash?
6:30pm - we can leave soon. (She left around 7)
7:40pm - I'm leaving now.
8:39pm - Leaving soon
8:59pm - Be home soon, just finishing my drink.. what's for dinner?
9:28pm - Haven't got my keys, be home shortly.

… phone went flat...

12:20am - knocking on the bedroom window to let me in.

at least he moved towards the goal post to get a good view, one of my pet hates is goal umpires who stay right in the centre of the goals and just guess when it goes close to the post.

I down care how far he moved or what he was looking at... there is no chance that's a behind. look at the goal kickers reaction!!! this was a goal I don't care what position he was in ----- unfortunately for him its on camera unlike a lot of decisions over the years

Oh, we are judging whether it was a goal or not by the kicker’s reaction now! Well we can bugger off goal reviews in the AFL just need to see who is the most excited!

That angle is useless for telling whether it’s a goal or not. Larry has a reputation for going against us in close calls. Very unlikely he’s going to suddenly turn a leaf and blatantly cheat a call a clear goal a point when it really had no effect on the game.

I think I’ll trust the people that saw it rather than twits (Smokey and Trader) on here.

The Bedge wrote:You’re right, was going to watch the game back properly and check the umpiring because first impressions Saturday was that Harrington sucked balls.. from the Kilburn 25m penalty deep inside F50 that was overturned for a pat on the head, to the non-existent HTB rule in the first half which was complete opposite in the 2nd half, to even at the end Parks being pinned HTB after being driven in the back into ground.

The 25m penalties were out of control too.

Not to take anything away from Kilburn though, they were up and about and played well.. Francis the beneficiary of having O’Keefe higher, and Solly is my favourite player at the moment.

Billy Parks was good, as was Marcus Linsen.

Galbraith had moments but can’t win a hard ball, relies on team mates to bring him into the game.

Overall once again first quarter killed us - 5 goals to 1, once again playing catch up.. just can’t afford to give sides that sort of jump. Need to be far better.

Billy Parks, a much under rated player, and needs to be further afield. Marcus Linsen, hasnt found his feet yet.

Very hard call on Galbraith, has been one of their most consistent players all year, in a team that has struggled?

Dear Walkies B grade,

Let's manufacture a draw tomorrow.

You're capable of beating all the sides in the 5 currently, but SMOSH are the dark horse emerging.. you beat them in Round 4, but they were wasteful and were missing the likes of Danaher, Parham, Jolly, Lunn and Critchley.

A draw is the best outcome for all - if SMOSH gets in the 5, they'll win the lot.

  I did think that!

Can't see it being a draw, Walkies have won 5 of the last 6 - and big wins the last two. On paper they look imposing, and they're sitting pretty in 3rd place with a healthy percentage.

Their key position players will be too big and mobile for my guys, and Martin in the ruck is a fair lump.

More of a Hail Mary from me.

.. speaking of Ressies.. looks like Mitcham have loaded up for a tilt at 3rd spot.

A grade have top 3 secured, so guess they're keen to have both grades with the double chance.

But surely a home final is more important than the B grade making top 3..?

4% is a fair whack to make up.. perhaps they think they can win anyway, and are hoping Pembroke do a number on you?

Or maybe they think you'll beat the Kings.

Certainly wouldn't surprise me if your B grade knocked them off.

4% doesn't matter if they beat Gepps and we lose...
