He's been outstanding in his first season of A grade footy after coming up from the under 16s. He's super talented and has impressed everyone around the club, really surprised me with just how much he's come on as a footballer and should be up amongst the top 5 in our A grade B and F. I think that next season, still being under 18s, he should look at going out to the Magpies because he's certainly capable of playing Port 18s.

Yeah, he is a good lad and i was certainly surprised to see him playing senior footy so early. I played some footy with his dad, and we are kinda related also.

Good on him, and you blokes for giving him a crack at senior footy. Hopefully you can keep him, i know higher grade clubs are sniffing around... ;)

they need him or would you rather be div 6

1st time poster had watched rosewater a few times this season and had lost their last 7 games which they were in a position to win all of them maybe fitness that could be the worry or discipline!!!!!

Looks like Horsell was named today. So I guess the disputes over. At the end of the day when times are tough you need to pick the side that will get the job done, will Horsell be able to run out the game? He probably would be fine, but if the young kid has more in legs well, makes it hard then.

Valleys beat Luthies by less than a kick. Stole the win in the dying seconds. We owed them that one after the Rd 4 loss!

How was that oval out there today? from my memory it has been pretty average and with a bit of rain would have been interesting.

The oval wasn't in too bad nick, the mud behind the bunting down one end wasn't the best if you kicked a goal. Didn't help things when there's no time on in the B's and C's. Not luthies fault though, new electrical cables being laid I believe

brahma by 8 points..

to call salis west feral would be a understatment, there fans and players are just feral as you get.. 2 players told me they will be waiting for behind the changerooms after the game to beat me up and wouldnt shake my hand. one player pushed one of our players while shaking his hand by the way the guy kicked 6 (alosi). more death threats thrown at me from the supporters when a came off for a blood rule and laughing.. end of the day it was a great win we were first to the footy and all they wanted to do was clobber us.. :D :D :D

Huge win by the valleys today, 20 points down at 3 qtr time and again 14 points down with 6 minutes to go, stole the win with about 30 seconds left!

wow the brahma win and north haven v plympton draw puts 3-6 in a loggerhead!

Plympton with 7-5-1, north haven 6-6-1, Brahma and HV 6-7 separated by 0.01 in percentage i reckon!

What a comp this is!

6 yellows, 5 players sent off (all North Haven)...not one deserved it. The umpiring was probably the worst ive ever seen. Apparently they were umpires from a country league down for the weekend so the SAAFL thought why not let them ruin a Div 5 game.

A couple of examples -

1) a Haven player takes a chest mark in front of a Plympton player, and the umpire tells the Haven player he hit the Plympton player high and turns the ball over. Impossible.

2) One of the players given a yellow card was just standing behind the umpire, the umpire heard someone call him something, turned around and just randomly picked one player out of about seven standing there and sent him off...just stupid.

And over 34 frees paid in the last qtr against Haven (1 every 40 odd seconds) is ridiculous. The team have played the same way all year and its never happened before.

But we had number 2 that's all that matters. I'm sure number 44 was handy and number 8 was also worth a mention
