I played in the Haven Plympton draw.

It was a great game of footy. There would not be 1 player fron either side that would have thought the game was well umpired, but the beauty of it was..... it was a tough hard game. Both sides are sitting in a very handy spot on the ladder and if the way both teams responded when they needed to is anything to go by.... these 2 teams are not to be underestimated. The umps were:
F rustrating
U nrealistic
C learly un-
K nkowlegable
H opeless
E ntertaining
A rrogant
D illusional and
S soft

There seems to be something wrong with my Tab key

For mine if i was picking the best on the ground it would be ALIOSSI from lodge by a long way he was fantastic although i dont think he had a player on him all day which confused me.

I didnt think it was a dirty game there were 2 big hits that resulted in both players taken no futher part in the game but as i said VANDERLANDS hit early in the game and WOODROWS hit later on were just both fair hip'n'shoulders that just happen to end these blokes day early.

for mine brahmas best- ALIOSSI,ALDRIDGE,LEIGH,PATTERSON
and westies best- WOODROW,STEELE,HAYTHORP and number 14 red headed bloke down back

would love to see these to sides play on a dry day would be a great display of footy.

Not sure if he was covered in your best as I only know his number, but No 11 from Westies is a gun!!! Small lad, got a stack of the ball and turned it up in the last to keep them in the game. I heard he won the U-18's best and fairest last year, so looks good for Westies future.

I will second that Masha, i had the pleasure of standing on him when he wasn't on the ball and the kid can definitely play and he let me know about it at one stage in the last quarter there... I also let him know who got the 2 points at the end of the game :D

Looked as though he had a bit of a groin issue as he was paying alot of attention to that area all day (i didnt know how to put this without it sounding like he was touching himself, but i am not being dirty i am meaning his groin) so hopefully he can clear any issues he has there before finals time for Westies cos he will play a huge part in their run home!

The run home:

West Croydon - SW(A), BL(H), AL(A), NH(A), RW(H) Should win at least 4 -28pts
Salisbury West - WC(H), NH(A), HV(H), WS(H), P(A) Should win at least 3 - 26pts
Plympton - HV(H), AL(A), BL(A), L(A), SW(H) 3 away games in a row, should win at least 3 - 21pts
North Haven - WS(A), SW(H), RW(A), WC(H), AL(A) - Tough draw, should win at least 2 - 17pts
Brahma Lodge - RW(H), WC(A), P(H), HV(A), L(H) - Should win at least 3 - 18pts

Hope Valley - P(A), L(H), SW(A), BL(H), WS(A) - Should win at least 3 - 18pts
Rosewater - BL(A), WS(H), NH(H), AL(H), WC(A) - Very good run home, should win at least 3 - 16pts
Adel Lutheran - L(A), P(H), WC(H), RW(A), NH(H) - Should win at least 2 - 14pts
Woodville Sth - NH(H), RW(A), L(H), SW(A), HV(H) - Should win at least 2 - 14pts
Lockleys - AL(H), HV(A), WS(A), P(H), BL(A) - Should win at least 1 - 10pts

So my predicted ladder after the end of the minor round is:

West Croydon - Minor premiers
Salisbury West - Have to lose 3 and Plympton win all 5 to lose 2nd spot
Plympton - 2 wins should be enough, 3 will secure it

Brahma Lodge - An extra loss could see them miss the 5, RW game is critical
Hope Valley - An extra loss could see them miss the 5, BL game is critical
North Haven - An extra win could see them make the 5, will have to beat either SW, WC (home) or RW (away) to make it
Rosewater - An extra win could see them make the 5, will have to beat BL (away) or WC (away) to make it

Adelaide Lutheran - Their percentage could be what saves them, an extra win certainly will. Lockleys and NH games are critical
Woodville South - Their percentage could be what costs them, even with an extra win. NH, L & HV games are critical (all at home)
Lockleys - will need to cause a couple of upsets to survive. Must win both home games (AL) & (P), WS game is critical (away)

I have gone by form and ladder position to predict the last 5 rounds, but obviously anything can happen. This year we have already seen teams win/lose when they shouldn't, so I have no doubt I could be way off!! One thing is for sure, the last 5 rounds will be one hell of a ride for a few footy clubs...

Steele's been very good in the midfield for Westies. Played really well against us.

A pretty good effort, I certainly hope Haven can win the extra game and make the 5 but it would take a massive effort from here
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Lockleys people, is there anything up with Shaun Barber? I remember earlier in the year there was a fair bit of talk about how big a pick up for Lockleys he was and a big loss to SMOSH, I see he has been playing in the 2's the last few weeks.

How good was the umpiring of the North Haven and Plympton game. Ruined what was a great game of footy.

Was pretty impressed by No. 13 from Plympton. Heard he is only 19 too...

How good was the umpiring of the North Haven and Plympton game. Ruined what was a great game of footy.

Was pretty impressed by No. 13 from Plympton. Heard he is only 19 too...

SS waht is Rory Duerdin required to go to the tribunal for, would have thought if he did something wrong it would be very out of character

I didnt see the incidents but I believe he recieved 2 yellow cards.

Best comedy routine I have seen since Abbet and Costello. Some of the decisions they made, all you could do is laugh. You would expect when a game shows a draw on the scoreboard that the umpires would converge in the middle and make sure all is in order, not on Saturday, they couldn't get off the ground quick enough. I hope Plympton and North Haven have made formal complaints, as their efforts were nothing short of a disgrace and the SAAFL Headquarters should be made aware of it. It would not be too often that both clubs would be so disgruntled with the umpires
They are straight to their word, they don't talk a lot of smoke and mirrors behind windows.

If that was #55 (Looks like Andy Murray) beleive he received 2 yellows.
