Who ever said we didn't call sumner? Had some mates at Golden grove and thought he would have been a good fit. Proving correct at this point. DJ didn't feel that c grade was right at his age and with his ability., saw how tight we were as a side last year and was keen to have a look off his own back. Signed the next night. Any one game enough to have a prediction on the year?

I'll have a go..

I reckon the top 5 will be (No particular order) GG, PHOS, Flinders Park, Athelstone and Pembroke

Plympton will be the unlucky ones

Seaton,Mitcham and Iggies to fight it out for relegation

That would be pretty ironic for Mitcham to have the division leading goalkicker AND get relegated..

It could happen. Fev won the Coleman while Carlton finished last in the same season

I think you will find Mitcham in the mix in the top 5...ruckman D.Hardy is running 4km worth of sprints every night and doing the odd bicep curl...word on the street is, he has a large vein popping out of the right bicep which he has named!!! Never seen the bloke looking so fit and robust! On another note his brother (competing in some sort of 12 week challenge) is under triple digits and also really fit! Wouldn't want to be playing on either of them!

My prediction for top 5 are in no order...Mitcham, golden grove, phos, flinders park and Pembroke.....the rest doesn't matter as Seaton and Plympton will be relegated!

Are you saying a Div 1R player from last year will kick the most goals in DIV 3 ;)

C'mon, don't tell me you lot wouldn't put a sneaky redback on him ;)

Scuddsy is now dealing (in theory) with better defenders, If Drew can constantly lead the div 1 goalkickers against the best defenders in the comp, I don't think the D3 full backs will trouble him that much, albeit him not getting any younger.

Handed us our arse a few times. If I was a betting man I'd be looking for value and subject to whats happened at the bays Tom Evans wouldn't be a bad bet.

Pembroke, PHOS, Old Ignatians, Golden Grove, Flinders Park.

I'll back Shane in. Down another 15odd kilos easily and fitter than he has ever been. Lots of work on techniques well. Hopefully the accuracy to improve as a result.

I'd be very surprised if Golden Grove played finals

I think Div 3 might not be as strong as it was last year on the whole. Seaton will drop away and miss the five (Loechel, Rochester, Leahy, Hynes were probably close to their four best, gone) Pembroke to win it for me, they were as good as any we saw last year.
