Heard he nearly wasn't gonna pull a guernsey back on, unless he got his prized No.23 back. Well done to the young fella out there, who declined handing back in the old blokes number but I've never heard of such an argument over who wears what numbers. I thought the numbers on the scoreboard at the end of the day, were the only real numbers worth worrying about?

I don't know why you say well done to the young fella. Typical young punk with no respect for their elders.

Bla bla bla this sort of bullshit does nothing for any football club, and footy forums are just a place for anonymous people to offer their two bobs worth. If half of these experts were fronted personally in the real world their gobs would be closed!!!! For footballs sake if its all about "me" go and play an individual rewarding game like golf and leave the team sports for team mates. Seriously humored by this crap!!

sh*t thats about the first bit of truth ive read on here! Played for 30 years in 1 number, why wouldnt you ask to have the number
But there was no argument at all. Coach asked the young lad and said he wants to keep it
Correct did think about not playing, why break 30 years for 5 games that i never asked to play?
in the end put the clubs plight first and try and help
Not that it did much anyway.
