That's hard to measure, after all its only round 14.. However we did lose a couple of quality players who went to Portland fc, but luckily we have gained good enough replacements. The group we have from last year has probably just matured a bit as players... Feel free to ask later on in the season

yeah it was more becuase i know that you did lose some from last years side, moving up a div i didnt think you would have as good a season as you're having. interesting that you mention matured a bit as players as i think this gets overlooked sometimes when debate reigns at the start of the year about how good teams will be, its more about recruits and losses than natural progression of lists. good luck for the finals series. WC has definately turned it around from 09, very impressive.

Welldone haven today, watched an up and down tussle! Haven were always in control ( on and off the field!!!) umps kept the game close, which is fine. There seemed to be a bit of yelling and carrying on over 1 of the 16 year old players from woody sth losing his s&$t at the end of the game! So this is my point to dicuss... Whether your 16 or 30 - if you can get the mental edge on a player to the point that player flips... I think more credit to ya! Haven had 5 players in the A grade today who were all 17 years old and they were being knocked around left right and centre from older opposition who just couldnt keep up with them, but did they lose their cool? No sir! I think it's the ol' ... If ya can't handle the heat!

Certainly did BMAC, you're boys absolutely smashed us yesterday. Well done to WS on their win, they were just too hot for us to handle on the day. They came with the right attitude, the attacked the ball hard and certainly wanted way more than we did and the pressure they put on us when we had posession caused us to cough the footy up and turn it over multiple times. We were extremely poor, the loss yesterday is probably the worst I've been involved with since 2009. They're weren't alot of guys who really held their own as WS beat us all over the ground. Our attitude, skills and endevor certainly wasn't not good enough and we really let Buckets down with the performance we put on.

The only thing we can do is move on to next week now were we have SW at home. We have 4 weeks to go were we play SW, Rosies, WC and AL we need to win at least 3 of those to have any chance of playing finals footy.

An interesting finish to what was a great game, great win for our boys in a reasonably close game but also good on WS for the game they played. Our boys started well again, something that has troubled us in the past but is now becoming good habit and controlled the contest for the majority of the game. As the game went on there were multiple times were our boys would look to be getting away but to their credit WS were able to hold steady and stay with our boys all the way. WS certainly didn't play like a ninth placed side and took it right up to our boys, who were good enough to hold on and win by 23 points.

The win yesterday made it 3 wins from the past 4 with the draw for our boys and are in good form heading into next weeks huge game against 1st placed SW. Hopefully our boys can have a red hot crack and take it right to them.

I played in the 2'syesterday! well done Woody, far to superior. Stuck around for the A's. Good game but the bit at the end was completely uncalled for. It could have errupted into much more. Im glad boths sides did the right thing and left the field. As for supporters calling out some foul things. Keep in mind the playground behind you and the many small children who were around. the behaviour was very distasteful.

Would love to hear from any Woodville South supporters who were at the game on Saturday.

Good game of footy but the scenes after the final siren were disgraceful.

as i said in a earlier post it was a great day of footy on saturday at the kennel. in the 2's plympton imo never looked like losing and to be honest had alot more of the footy and should have won by more... HV seemed flat at times and weren't willing to step up when needed.
we were wasteful at times which i felt kept the score closer. in the 1's plympton dominated early until i said the stupid words "have hope valley even shown up?" bein a plympton supporter i should have known better and HV proceeded to kick the next 5 goals.. it was a great contest after quarter time... then the last 5 minutes it was a thriller, i think the lead changed hand twice in that time and plympton bein in front at the rite time... when HV hit the front with a bout a minute to go i thought we were gone and by the looks of the celebration of the HV players so did they, and to PFC's credit got the ball forward and got a free kick in the goal square to get the points...

it was a great day on and off the field...

this division just keeps getting better and better... there are no real easy games and every game has so much importants involved...

Agree it was indeed a good game. However, the after siren was an incident which could have been avoided. I think that the Amateur league should really look into this incident and see if there was anything that instagated it.. I dont believe our player would have gotten that fired up over nothing as i know him personally.. And to the bloke that stated above that he lost his cool because he was out played or whatever i suggest you actually learn the facts of what was alleged before you come on here and type that sort of crap.. If the allegations are true it is something for the player in question to be very ashamed of and also something that the North Haven Football Club should be asshamed of
